Calm Night
"The stars are so beautiful tonight."
"Wow, look at that moon! Wouldn't want to be a werewolf tonight."
"What a lovely night."
"It's so calm. So quiet. I feel like I can breathe."
"Not a cloud in the sky."
"It feels like there should be music."
"Do you want to sit and stargaze with me?"
"Smell that? The honeysuckle. It's flowering."
"Can't sleep? It's too nice tonight."
"Did you know that a clear night with a full moon is darker than one with clouds?"
"I feel like I could run for miles when it's like this."
"There's nothing like it, is there?"
"Would you lay here with me? Just for a bit. Just because it's like this."
"Oh! I think I saw a bat."
"I can tell you the constellations, if you want."

First Meetings pt 2.
requested by @ordinariums!
"Hello! How can I help?"
"Well, what's your name?"
"Is this your first time here?"
"I haven't been here before, and you look nice, so now I'm talking to you."
"Do you know anyone else at this party?"
"Oh, no, I'm so sorry! Can I buy you a new one? I'm so clumsy."
"Can you pretend to be my friend? There's someone following me."
"Oh, you're not who I thought you were, I'm sorry!"
"Is it okay if I sit here?"
"I know it's not my place to say, but you looked upset. So I thought I'd come sit with you for a minute."
"Oh my god, are you okay?! That was a bad fall!"
"They gave me an extra coffee by accident, do you want it?"
"I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist, but you need to listen to me."
"Hi, I think you dropped this?"
"Bless you!"

Reblog if you’re open to improvisational rp and just “winging it” with threads
Whether it’s the first interactions between the muses so the chemistry is still up in the air and it’s still unknown as to whether or not they’ll click before potential plotting, or the muses have too much minds of their own and run wild the moment you set them loose in a thread, plotting is hard and occasionally your pre-planned threads jump the track and go in totally different directions than anticipated thanks to the muses’ creative differences. Reblog this to let your rp partners know that you don’t mind simply jumping straight into in-character interactions and threads.

"I mean... Not as hard as I could have. I punched a skrull over the top of a building before." She shrugged, feeling a bit relieved that she wasn't going to get immediately in trouble. "I'm Molly. My friends call me Mol. Sometimes I've been called Bruiser, but that's hurtful 'cause I've told people to call me Princess Powerful."
"Dang sprout, how hard did you hit him?" She snickered a little. "Don't worry. He's genuinely not as scary as people make him out to be. Just put on your most innocent look, maybe crank up the waterworks. Works every time." She winked. "Name's Clarice, codename Blink."

"I really didn't even know that he flew that good." It had been a pretty spectacular sight. It was probably a good thing no one else was on the other side of those walls... "Well... Okay. Are you sure I won't get in trouble?"
"Whoa. I'd'a paid to see that." A hand settled on the girl's shoulder. "Listen, I don't know if anybody can fix it before somebody sees, but I can run interference for you so you don't get in trouble. You're fine, pun'kin. Okay?"

"Nope." She pulled further down her face, stretching it to it's limit. Her face didn't need to be showing for anyone to see she was mortified. "I'm just gonna be like this forever now. Never coming out again."
"True facts," he nodded. "Um...yeah, it can totally be fixed. You may need to lift your hat so you can see to tie your shoe."

"That's really exciting. Maybe we could all come and meet up, like a big old reunion. Nico and Vic would probably like to go to space." She grinned as she imagined both of their respective groups hanging out in a space palace. "Though, you know... Have we all ever gotten to hang out without like... an invasion or something happening? We'd probably have to be prepared for that." She tapped a finger against her chin, losing herself in thought for a moment.
"....Hey. Since you're in space a lot now, can you do me a favor?" A more serious look crossed over Molly's face. "Lina got hurt and so she went with the Light Brigade to her people to go heal. Can you let me know if you hear anything about her? I miss her. Nico does too."
Oh, he'd missed Molly's enthusiasm. She was such a good kid, in spite of everything that had happened in her young life. He was sure that beneath the surface she had her hurts, but Molly's smile lit up a room. He had high hopes for her. Big wishes. And a whole new galaxy of stars to make them on.
"We are. The palace is basically a space station, hanging over the new Throneworld. It used to be called Hala, but it got blown apart a while back in a war... but the insides are all machinery. So we got it stuck back together and anyone who wants to live there is welcome. Kree, Skrull... more hybrids, like Teddy." Billy grinned at her. "And I would love for you to come visit, anytime you want. My phone still works, Loki enchanted it a long time ago to work anywhere. So no matter how far away I am, you can still call, okay?"

"I sent him through a buncha walls though." She fidgeted, tugging on the hem of her shirt, her face flush with embarrassment. "Do we have to tell? Is there a way to fix it without any else knowing?"
"Oh, kid." She couldn't help a snicker. "I mean, somebody is gonna find out, there's a big stinkin' hole in the wall. Accidents happen. And I think we've all punched the Wolverine at least once, right?"

"Choice implies on purpose. Which it wasn't." Molly pulled her hat down over her eyes in embarrassment. "My shoelace was untied, I tripped and fell into the wall, then through it. Do you think it's fixable?"
"That's...quite the design choice," he remarked. "So what happened?"

"Therewasabug!" The words rattled out of Molly's mouth in a single breath. "It landed on me and scared me! It wasn't on purpose! Don't tell Logan, he's probably still mad about that time I punched him on accident! "
"I know a punched hole when I see one, kiddo. Wanna tell me what happened before Logan finds the hole?"

PROMPTS FOR FEELING SAFE / EXPRESSING COMFORT * assorted dialogue, adjust as necessary, send "reverse" for the reversal of action prompts. suggested by judgementdaysunshine
DIALOGUE PROMPTS
i haven't felt like this in a very long time.
i wanted to thank you for protecting me back there.
you stepped in when you didn't need to.
for once in my life, i feel safe.
this place gives me a good feeling.
i feel safe in your arms.
it's been a while since i slept through the night without any nightmares.
i could get used to this.
i won't let anything happen to you.
you make me feel safe.
you didn't have to step in and help me, but you did, and i appreciate that.
no one's ever stood up for me like that before.
my whole life has been filled with conflict and pain. not anymore.
maybe i'll finally know peace with you.
we deserve an easy life.
you're my port in the storm.
i can't tell you the last time i actually felt safe.
you know me. i don't let my guard down for just anyone.
something changed to make me feel this way.
you're safe here with me.
they won't come after you, and if they do? they'll have to go through me.
it feels nice, being here with you.
you make me feel like i can accomplish anything.
i can be myself with you.
we're looking out for you.
you won't judge me for the things i say.
just stay here a while, if you don't mind.
so this is what safety feels like.
i can finally breathe again.
nothing can touch you while i'm here.
you can go back to sleep. it's safe.
no one will hurt you anymore.
my life is in your hands.
promise me you won't abandon me?
i'll be right here when you wake up.
you taught me how to protect myself.

"Awwwww, how cute." Molly cooed softly, leaning towards the stroller, smiling down at the infant inside. While she always enjoyed being around babies and younger kids, running around hero-ing with a bunch of teenagers rarely lent time for that. She's probably make for a great babysitter. "Have a good nap, don't worry, I got to sleep all the time too." She quietly addressed the baby, only slight above a whisper.
"You can if you want." She straightened back up from the stroller, giving a bit of a shrug. "Libraries are pretty great. My favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth."
"What's your name, mister? I'm Molly. Which way do we go?"
Sterling looked around at the word mister to see who was speaking and to see if they were, in fact, speaking to him. His gaze lowered as he spotted the child, tilting his head at her question then looking around as if he would recognize her friends if he spotted them.
He turned the stroller he had been pushing to the side to reveal a small sleeping toddler and squatted down more to Molly's level before speaking.
"How about I just walk you there. We were on our way to the park but this one fell asleep so a quiet library might be a better destination anyway."
If this little girl was wandering New York alone he knew telling her the city was too dangerous would probably have her rolling her eyes and shutting him out. It was better to treat her like he would an adult in this situation and just try and keep her safe. No lecture. Just understanding and protection.

Molly sat down on the bench with a small hop and listened to his story in rapt attention. She smiled down at the pictures as he flipped through them, taking in the details. "Oh, everyone looks so nice!"
Billy's story indeed sounded like a fairy tale. Everything was there- a great peril, slaying some monsters, a wedding, and he was even a prince at the end of it. It was all very exciting as she was very happy for him- but also a little sad. Everyone was finding their place in the world, and it worried her that she might get left behind.
Not that she was going to tell him that.
"That's so cool. Then are you living in space now? Are you going to visit often? What's it like up there? Can I come to visit some time?"
He couldn't help chuckling softly at her excitement, letting himself be dragged -- as if anyone had a choice, once Molly Hayes had a grip on you -- to find a surface they could sit on to talk. A bench would have to do, and he hooked his knee up onto the seat so he could face her.
"Well. You'll be happy to know it was basically a fairy tale. Kinda." Billy pushed that wayward forelock out of his eyes, and none could deny the wistful look on his face. "See, we got married twice. Once here on Earth, to make it all official. In Vegas, last minute. Just us and the Young Avengers as witnesses. Tommy was in a suit, if you believe it." Out came his phone, and he flicked through a few pictures to show her the one the venue had taken of their first kiss.
"So then, Teddy has to rush off to space because -- well, remember that time Xavin kept callin' him the Great Unifier? That chicken came home to roost, so to speak. So he goes, I stay -- and then there's these plant beasts, total end-of-the-galaxy stuff. And when we win, he's named the Emperor of the Kree-Skrull Alliance and I'm his Court Wizard and Prince Consort."
His thumb flicked through again, to find the one Wanda had taken of his second first kiss.
"And I wish you and the others had been there, Molls. We only barely got the team back out in time, Wanda made sure my folks made it but there were a lot of people who should have been there. I mean, I didn't even have a flower girl."
