Dream tuna sandwich for lunch
Foccacia that someone at work gave me, warmed up a little in the oven. Tuna mayonnaise with lots of olive oil & lime juice. Green goddess dressing I blitzed up with tonnes of herbs, avocado, lime, garlic & creme fraiche. And little gem lettuce.

Leading a wine tasting this evening, this section was about the visible variation in colour between bottles of Burgundy from 2009 - the Cotes de Auxerre 'Biaumont' 2009, Domaine Goisot - that comes from the mysterious effects of microoxidisation as a bottle ages under cork.

Something in between Sichuan style aubergines and a take on Mabonasu (which itself is a japanese interpretation of mapotofu with aubergine) the primary difference being that I steamed the aubergines in a bamboo steamer rather than deep frying.
Served with beautiful hot short grain rice and a cucumber and sesame dish I've been making a lot recently. And a boiled egg not pictured
