JOE  MAZZELLO

So, I am back again with my new blog. It has been a while since I wrote my blog for the reason that I had so many things going on that I was not able to write. So, here I am with the new actor, my favourite, Joe Mazzello!!! He is one of the most talented actors I have known. He is also a director and a producer. I have to be honest; I was blown over by the amount of talent he has. Here are some of my favourite Mazzello movies:

                                                    JURASSIC PARK

Who doesn’t know about this masterpiece of Steven Spielberg? He is being by dinosaurs in this movie. He has said in a lot of interviews that he is very proud of this film and also the stories he tells about the sets. My favourite scenes in the movie are the ‘we are back in the car again’ and the kitchen scene. They are so good. One of them is funny and the other is so intense. I screamed when the raptor comes out of nowhere behind Laura Dern.  Talking about his looks, he looks so cute!!

                                                   BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

I think that he will be known for playing John Deacon now. He was so good in this movie. This movie made me fall in love with him and now there is no turning back for me. I have to be honest he took everything about John Deacon in him. It looked as if John Deacon possessed him while he was working in this film. He has told so many stories about the sets and also about the perm and I guarantee you that you are going to love it and will laugh so much.

                                                            DEAR SIDEWALK

I think that not many people know about this film. The main reason may be that it is an indie film. He plays the role of a mail carrier, Gardner. I like this film because I can relate to Gardner as I believe that I have the same monotonous routine as he has. Although, I can give it away sometimes. Another reason why I like this film is that it shows life as a kaleidoscope, which is very unique. I would rather see it in all the ways possible!!!!

                                                            UNDRAFTED

This is his directorial debut. It is very funny and also has a dramatic instinct to it. This film is my dose of laughter and drama. I have this image of an angry young man. It is a very good movie. It taught me to be passionate about what you want to do. So, it is a comedy, drama and inspiration.

                                                 SHORT FILMS

There are many short films in which he has worked. I am mentioning one of them. It is called matters of life and death. It made me cry like a baby. There is a scene where he breaks down. Oh my god!!!! I cry so much after watching this scene. I am now officially a big fan of Joe Mazzello.

                                         THE SOCIAL NETWORK

Here he plays the role of Dustin Moskovitz.  He is one of the founders of Facebook. I couldn’t recognise him at all!!! I love this movie because of him and also Jesse Eisenberg. Also, Aaron Sorkin has given a masterpiece. I was impressed by the movie and also by the background score.

                                                    THE PACIFIC

He plays the role of Eugene Sledge who was a private in the US marines. I loved this show and I was very impressed by his performance. He mentions this a lot of times but he and Rami worked together for the first time. He did a good job. I felt that there were very few scenes of Eugene Sledge in the starting. But still, it is worth the watch.

DANIEL RADCLIFFE

I am sorry for being inactive for a long time. I deleted my old account and made a new one.  There is a new part of the blog as well. But you know that ideas are always on the way but get stuck because of some interference. This is the same thing that happened to me. I couldn’t think of anything to write. But here I am and I know now what to write.

I have decided to take a break from writing my take on the potter films. I am now writing about my favourite actors in Harry Potter. The first actor is none other than Daniel Radcliffe.

Oh my god!!!! He is one of the most versatile actors I have seen so far. He is that actor who has risen to the heights that he deserves according to me. Well, starting as child actors gave him an edge I feel because in his films apart form Harry Potter, he has done a fabulous job. There are other actors like this, like the original Jurassic Park actor, Joe Mazzello who has reached good heights.

He portrays Harry very convincingly. In my opinion, no one can play Harry better than Daniel Radcliffe. It seemed. If you see, in some of behind the scenes, there is no part of Harry left in him, but as soon as he is on camera, there is only Harry. He proved his versatility as an actor with this film. He proved that he can become one of the most famous actors of our age.

But as a person, I haven’t met him though, but he is a very good and a very brave person. If there someone who inspires me the most after Vikas Khanna, Joe Mazzello, Queen band, it is Daniel Radcliffe. If you want to know that thing about him, watch a video on him on Facebook.

 Here, you will see that this video tells how to overcome your challenges and just follow your dreams. We all face certain hindrances in our life. But overcoming those challenges and go-ahead to do what you have to, will make you successful.

  One of his films called ‘swiss army man’ is for me one of the fantastic work he has done after Harry Potter. It is so creative, even I cannot imagine anything like this.  I am totally stunned by this film and his act. If you look closely at the film, you will see that it tells that there is a difference between how we perceive our life. At one side, you need all the things in life and on the other hand, all we need is love. Another striking thing was that it shows how love can have a great impact on our lives. Daniel Radcliffe in this film proved that even if I am playing a corpse, I can give a good performance.. he makes the dead body look so life-like.

 Another film where he has really stepped out of Harry Potter was the film ‘What If’. This a rom-com film. It deliberates on the question that ‘what happens when your best friend is also the love of your life?’  Radcliffe here is able to portray the complexities of life in a light manner. His character and acting are so relatable. You might see it and say that, ‘oh wow!!! This all happens in real life as well!!!!’. But in some scenes, he does overreact. All in all, in this film, he has a very strong presence with Adam Driver, Mackenzie Davis and Zoe Kazan.

  Now you see me 2 was a big surprise. So, this is what was happening when Harry passed out of Hogwarts. His character is a  real bad-boy character. Who would have thought that he can make such a good villain? His acting in this film is so good and out of the box.

Some other films of him I like are December Boys and Horns.

  Miracle workers season 1 was his television show I saw. My god!!!! He looked like a literal angel without a beard. Here, he gives a comic touch to the character. His character is a very cautious one and has only a ‘breeze’ idea. But he tends to live in the real world at least.

So, in the end, I would say that he a fantastic actor. For someone who started working young, this is a huge success in career, to do so many good shows. The one thing I want to see is his plays in Broadway, Old Vic theatre or in Studio 54. Thank you to him for inspiring me.
