Are you making a new Hogwarts or editing your previous one?

At first I thought about just editing the old one; but to be able to use the terrain tools it was best to make a new one from scratch. Then I got really excited and decided to follow the blueprints more closely. Specifically, the one used for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince featured in Harry Potter: Page to Screen. Now I have less room to build in the upper levels so I had to move a lot of rooms to the basement and dungeons.

I’ve placed one of the cauldrons from Realm of Magic in this room so you will be able to brew your potions!

Hospital Wing 

Unfortunately, the Hospital Wing is one of those rooms I couldn’t place in the upper levels so it doesn’t connect to the Clock Tower. It’s in the basement.

I based this look on a combination of what this room looked like in the first and second film.

The Great Hall 

Growing up the Great Hall was one of my favorite places in Hogwarts. It just seemed so magical with its ceiling reflecting the sky outside, rich desserts and levitating candles! Do you guys have any favorites? Any rooms you would like me to build or post updates of?

Slytherin Common Room

This time I’ve added Zerbu’s Environment Emitter lights to some of the rooms which affect the sims magical auras. So, if your sims are in the Slytherin Common Room they will feel confident, in Ravenclaw they will be focused, in Gryffindor they will feel playful, Hufflepuff will make them energized… Other rooms will make them extremely tensed, disgusted, sad or bored out of their minds!
