Harry was already at a point where he didn’t think anything could surprise him any more - especially when it came to Defence Against the Dark Arts professors. But he was completely taken aback by the new professor in the classroom.

“Uh... are you... the new professor?” he asked, eyes wandering down to the bare foot.

Generally, Aradir didn't like humans. They meddled in things they didn't understand and were usually not very clever.

There were exceptions, of course, which was why Aradir was here, hiding from the Queen of Yovain who wanted to kill him. He didn't really blame her, but he also didn't want to be in her dungeons again. His thigh was still a little sore and no amount of healing magic made the brand go away.

He had just finished setting up the tower he had been given. He connected the office door to his home, in between Worlds, so it had all his books and things and lots of space for the kids to badly spar with each other. Now, though, he was in the classroom, sitting on the desk and waiting. He was barefoot but dressed in armour made of strange black leather and chainmail. He didn't hide his blue skin on his face, though. Aradir was looking forward to seeing the reactions. The human who had let him stay here had had a measures response, but he couldn't say the same for children.
