i might make some ppl mad but here we go

michael craw and sarah brightman don't sound good. not together. separately? they sound amazing. i love michael crawford's motn so much like it lifts me up.

the only problem is that i feel like they weren't good together. Sarah's voice feels too low, compared to Michael's relatively high voice. for most to all other pairings, the phantom has a deep voice while christine provides a lighter voice. sarah and michael did the exact opposite.

i need to listen to the original soundtrack before i can give my opinion on this but other phans! come forth and give your take on this!

i much prefer christine in the book than her in the show... show!christine just feels like another person, like a christine variant to me. i love her too, but book!christine holds a special place in my heart.

that's fair, it's been a while since i've read the book but book! and show!christine do feel like separate characters

The phantom is actually completely my type but because of what he does in the show kinda killed the attraction or at least the concept and idea of anyone having a relationship with the guy so it's super complicated

this is what i was thinking as well, like as a concept and as a character i like him but if he was real? i'd deck him in the face and file a restraining order against him.

When I first heard the soundtrack when I was little, it was on a CD on a long car journey. I used to think the title song was Christine and Phantom running across rooftops being chased by the FBI....

Honestly don't know why I had that in mind.

i really want to poke the phantom. in a completely non sexual non romantic way. as in if fictional characters somehow became real and he appeared in real life the first thing i would do is get my index finger and just. poke the center of his chest. like the bit where the shirt buttons are. a bit like a nose boop but not that because nose boops are overrated. a chest boop. he seems very poke-able. bet he'd fall over too

I 'ship' e/c one way only. The phantom should ONLY be into Christine and he is, essentially, Christinesexual. If Christine were a lamp, or genderbent, he would still be into her/it/him/whatever pronouns christine was using. However I don't think Christine should be in a relationship with the guy under any circumstances

yeah no there would have to be some heavy modification for e/c to even work (and for me to ship it, although i do think the dynamic is interesting. but i don't ship it currently.)
