Afelől nincsenek kétségeim, hogy az írás tanítható, afelől már inkább vannak, hogy nem az olvasás tanításával kéne-e inkább foglalkoznunk. A magas szintű vers- és prózaolvasással. A hetvenes-nyolcvanas években olvasótáborokat szerveztek, most írótáborokat szokás. Igaz, akkor is volt szó az írásról, mint ahogy most is van az olvasásról. Mindemellett érzek valami deficitet a kortárs és a klasszikus irodalom ismeretében, az általános műveltség iránti igényben.
