I just heard that Helen McCrory died and I just can’t wrap my head around it...

She was such a gorgeous woman and such an incredible and talented actress, I don’t know what to say...

YES YES YES! Everyday is Joe Toye day! Anyone who knows me know i love Toye a ✨normal✨ amount and i really think he was so under appreciated. I know this probably isn’t what you meant but i went OFF and i want to apologise in advance.

Can we please talk about this? What is there not to love about this man? He has the jaw line of a God. And they way he flexes it gets me every time. The scene where Luz keeps talking throughout the movie and he turns around and tells him to shut up is pure gold. When Lip turns around you can see Toye having a mental conversation with himself and you can almost hear him saying ‘keep calm, calm down and don’t kill him don’t turn around just focus on breathing’ because he looks so annoyed😂

The single eyebrow raise when he’s looking at people almost asking them if they’re serious or not. AND the scene where he’s talking about wanting brass knuckles and the way he lists all his equipment off. That scene was pure gold.

The darts scene where Toye and Babe are set up by Buck and Luz? Amazing. If you look closely you can see his little annoyed face in the background. He is so unimpressed and he knows he was set up. The pout and the direct eye contact with Luz is almost like he is silently telling Luz his is going to have WORDS with him later. This scene kinda makes me feel like he’s showing his more playful side? I dunno why but the faces he makes and how he acts kinda makes me wish we had seen a little bit more of this side of him.

Did someone mention his voice? DAMN! His voice is so incredible sexy. He could say absolutely anything to me and I would agree with him once he didn’t stop talking. And I just have to mention the scene with Luz when they celebrate getting their jump wings. His tie is slightly undone and his top button is undone too and it’s like he’s started to relax. The low tone of his voice and the way he stares directly at George gets me every time and there will not be a day that I am alive on this earth that I don’t appreciate that scene. I am pretty sure that scene is the sole reason I am alive. He couldn’t be any closer to Luz! Luzs hair is literally grazing Toyes forehead!

And his hair? What wouldn’t give to run my hands through it while he talks about anything his heart desired. It’s so dark and it looks really soft.

I really feel the need to say this. WE WERE ROBBED OF SEEING HIM IN HIS PT GEAR. That was so cruel for them to do us like that.

I know I’ve only talked about his appearance up to now but now we have to discuss his personality and the little things he does throughout the show. The scene where he’s talking to Guarnere on D-Day as if he’s trying to calm Bill down? Like he’s explaining why Winters did what he did calling Bill out. When Joe gets back from the aid station and Bill is so excited to see him and the smiles on their faces and the way Bill is like ‘everyone look at whos back yep it’s my best friend’. AND when Bill goes out to help him when he gets wounded gets me feeling all sorts of emotions because i feel like we missed out on seeing their relationship. I mean you don’t go out to help just anyone knowing you might get wounded or killed yourself? He literally risked his life to help Joe and you expect me to not look into their relationship and all the little things we didn’t get to see?

The scene where he jumps into his foxhole and wants to murder whoever sh*t in it. In the middle of a war and after everything he has seen (and probably done) and that is the thing that annoys him? He literally has NOTHING to his name because it’s war so it makes me think that he likes to enjoy what little he does have like a clean foxhole. It’s literally not much, it’s a hole in the ground, but it’s his little bit of ‘safety’ and he feels like someone has disrespected that. And we’re back to Bill because he tells Bill about it. Okay it might just be because Bill happened to be walking past at that moment BUT I’m going with my imagination on this one and be like if anyone understands his pain it’s Bill😂

In Day of Days when he is in the trench thing and he gets blow up twice and he checks himself to make sure he had *ehem* everything makes me laugh. The look of relief on his face makes me think that in that minute he is thanking his lucky starts that he and everything attached to him was okay. We see him checking himself over but it isn’t until he checks *himself* that he is actually relieved.

Okay i really went off and I’m going to apologise for it🙈 but i am so here to talk about Toye any day because in this house it is always Toye loving hours!

Summary: She hasn’t got a wink of sleep since she has wounded soldiers to tend to all night, but when she gets the chance to go looking for him, she takes it

He’s been missing all night.

Unfortunately, there are dozens of wounded men in her regiment she needs to tend to, so she sets aside her worries as the moon creeps across the sky. The ticking of her watch in the moments of silence weighs heavy on her heart, so finally, she stuffs it in her pants pocket, where she can no longer hear it. As the hours pass, she, Roe, Spina, and the other medics scramble throughout the men, searching for injuries in the dark.

The worst patients are the ones with few or no physical wounds, but who won’t say a word, frozen in their stance, some clutching rosaries or pendants between trembling fingers, others with heads bowed in grief, shock, sorrow, and the suffocating weight of so much death. Nuenen was a defeat for all the regiment, not just Easy Company, and Winifred Bly is not the only one to feel the loss.

She just can’t show her misery to anyone.
