The first three and the three after represents different sides of today’s Chinese society, the fast and slow side. The train from Xichang to Puxiong slows down its speed to let people in the moutain to catch up the pace, and my hometwon Nantong’s old block, SiJie. The government cannot wait to begin the demolition and relocation of the residents in order to make new ones from the original ground.

Veronica: Last semester I sat in on my friends photoshoot and when they weren’t looking I used their props for some fun. I used a disposable camera so these are the only ones that didn’t come out too dark and green.

Veronica: I took some photos in an church with know one there before the quarantine, but looking back these photos take on something different.

Zoe. Woman I met yesterday who was setting up a dedication to the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, which is today April 24th. She told me with everyone remaining in their homes today she’ll be joining others in a facebook live commemoration.
