Came across this in my TS3 screenshots. I wish EA hadn't synced TS3 to their app... Because now, whenever that app decides to go off the rails, it boots me out the game. You literally have to be online to play a game that used to NOT have to be ONLINE to play.... :(

I had to edit the download link because my Nate link doesnt exist anymore and Im not sure if I still have the sim (I know he isn't in my saved sims, that's for sure.)... So until I am able (or if Im able) to find the save with him there, Just download Ce'Mir, his father, and use the cc that I say to gather. :D They're look just the same, only skinnier!

Remember, I have every EP except for IP and ITF. I’m also missing the last two SPs and Katy Perry. My game is patched up to 1.63, so make sure that yours is as well because I believe I am using some of the sliders from SN and Seasons. I also use Mastercontroller with slider facial settings at 3 and body settings at 2.

I really hope you guys like him and that he brings some uniqueness/fun to your games. Have fun!

shooting this out there again... A section 8 mod would work sooo well with these!!!!! lol Even though, in real life, these aren't section 8 housing. Its public housing ((for those of you unfamiliar with how government assistance works. Projects, like these, are public housing. Designated home specifically made by the government. Section 8, is equal housing voucher that will allow you to live WHERE-EVER vouchers can be accepted **typically anything following HUD**)) ((USA type stuff))

I need a section 8 mod!!! This is one of those times that I wish I knew how to code!!! I think of tons of things that I haven't seen anyone do in the modding world and get sad cause I have no clue how to do it! With For Rent being here, section 8 is HIGHLY POSSIBLE to do! (maybe) Ive seen people with their welfare mods, but those are careers... Which is odd to me that its a career, but I guess. I want something that will tap into that For Rent game. It has everything it needs to be a PERFECT Section 8 system. ~~~~~ Oh well.. let me wallow in my saddness lol

I've been seeing a LOT of people playing the Sims 3 lately.. I've even seen new cc for it, in just these past 3 days!!! Is this a sign yall?? Last time I played was a few months back and my game started to be dumb!~ Yall telling me to do it again!?

I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.

As well as Sims, Cmar loved cats, and donations are suggested to the ASPCA, the TinyKittens Society, or an animal-related charity near you.

no shade to the teens and early twenties bloggers but it’s hard finding people within my age group that are active and continue to contribute here in the community. 

also idk if anyone else experiences this but sometimes it can be difficult relating to the younger population due to generational differences, pop culture, etc.

New Things to Beware on the Internet

On May 3rd, Google released 8 new top-level domains (TLDs) -- these are new values like .com, .org, .biz, domain names. These new TLDs were made available for public registration via any domain registrar on May 10th.

Usually, this should be a cool info, move on with your life and largely ignore it moment.

Except a couple of these new domain names are common file type extensions: ".zip" and ".mov".

This means typing out a file name could resolve into a link that takes you to one of these new URLs, whether it's in an email, on your tumblr blog post, a tweet, or in file explorer on your desktop.

What was previously plain text could now resolve as link and go to a malicious website where people are expecting to go to a file and therefore download malware without realizing it.

Folk monitoring these new domain registrations are already seeing some clearly malicious actors registering and setting this up. Some are squatting the domain names trying to point out what a bad idea this was. Some already trying to steal your login in credentials and personal info.

This is what we're seeing only 12 days into the domains being available. Only 5 days being publicly available.

What can you do? For now, be very careful where you type in .zip or .mov, watch what website URLs you're on, don't enable automatic downloads, be very careful when visiting any site on these new domains, and do not type in file names without spaces or other interrupters.

I'm seeing security officers for companies talking about wholesale blocking .zip and .mov domains from within the company's internet, and that's probably wise.

Be cautious out there.

a couple weeks ago i did a search for an afro pick accessory for my sims but couldn't find a sims 4 version for the life of me.

however, a few yrs ago @mochasims (a wonderful creator who is no longer with us) shared one for the sims 3. side note: if you don't know who mochasims was or know of her impact on this community, this thread of folks sharing a little about her is a good place to start.

i took her mesh and spent a couple days banging my head against the wall in blender and ts4studio to get it converted and looking as good as her original.

in respecting her TOU i have included her name in the .package file and credit her for this mesh entirely.

the afro pick comes in a single, black swatch. it is not hat slider compatible but does come in 3 different positions and works with a variety of hair lengths/heights.

choose the option you like best or all of them! you'll find them in the "hat" section in cas.

so Im playing right.... im on my third generation.... Now I can't seem to play through their high school years.. my game keeps fucking crashing and Im PISSSSSSED...
