Y'all, I'm on summer break!

Teaching has its benefits, like summer off. But I also have children and stuff, so like...limited free time to write fic. And I'm debating trying to finish one of my original works or just have fun writing fic because I enjoy it?

And maybe it's my ADHD, but I have a ton of WIPs and so many of them are *this close* to being complete. Why is it so hard to finish some things!?

I have several Royai, Wolfstar, Zukka fics, and a ton of original novels that sit there ready to be finished or edited. It's impossible to choose.

Posting this into the void as motivation.

Dallas and Ian both single handedly resurrecting “Zukka” from the dead was not on my 2024 bingo card this year and yet HERE WE ARE. Dallas told us to ship it again, he practically begged us too. 🙃😉

Okay, I am finally allowing myself back on tumblr because I’ve finished watching the Netflix ATLA.

Guys, I liked it. Apparently I am in the minority, haha. I think some things got too dark (Ocean Spirit Aang Sacrifice), some things got weird (Bumi), and Katara wasn’t angry enough…but I actually think that might be her acting? 😬

I was just relieved they toned down Aang’s Katara crush because it was going to be a hard no for me to watch otherwise.

I liked Sokka and Zuko the best! I always felt like the cartoon didn’t do Sokka justice and his feelings about being a warrior felt more real here. I think Zuko is just as dumb/angry as he was in the cartoon and I’m here for it.

Yue as a waterbender was cool, but she could’ve saved that fish by just pulling it back in the water when Zhao was trying to kill it. 🤦‍♀️

Also, as with many first seasons of shows, they are not usually the BEST season. Here’s hoping it gets better and we can all have more pretty content to look forward to. 😊
