i've tried to listen to unknown pleasures like 10 different times in my life since the age of 13 and every time i would just be like i don't like this i guess i'm just not a joy division girl but in the summer i got into my bestie's car while he was listening to closer and i was immediately like "who is this, this is great" and was shocked to find out joy division had another album and it quickly became one of my top 5 favourite albums of all time and i listened to it exclusively on loop for a month at least. so maybe unknown pleasures just sucks
