☕️ He always refers to you as little one, young master/miss, little knight, or pup (bat wise)

☕️ Hes always in the kitchen making you snacks when Bruce is away or already taken care of.

☕️ During dark stormy nights, he takes you into his lap by the fireplace and reads bedtime stories based on Batman and other dc heroes.

☕️ He takes care of everyone’s health somehow, always ready to help you clean up your room when times get rough or when you’re unable to physically care for yourself, he always reassures you that it’s nothing to be embarrassed about either.

☕️ He keeps all his cartoon dvds in a box in his room, letting you and others go in and pick which ever movies you want to see tonight.

☕️ During the night, he checks in on you to make sure you’re okay sleeping alone, keeping nightlights in your room incase you’re scared of the dark.

☕️ He’s the best at playing pretend, going all out for tea parties or for an adventure in the yard, looking for fossils!

Boo-boos.

I had to go to urgent care today (nothing life threatening) and I'm thinking about how Alfred would react.

He definitely try to treat it himself, at first, but with me he wouldn't mind taking me to a medical facility. He'd encourage it, in fact. He wouldn't want anything bad to happen to me.

I think he'd be really cool headed in stressful situations, but would definitely fuss over me when we got home. He'd monitor when I'm supposed to take my meds and make sure I take them right on time. He'd have a whole pharmacy of over the counter meds that he'd use to keep me comfortable.

I'd like to think he'd be a little clingy, in his own way....

Christmas spirit!

Alfie is a Christmas man!!!! I kind of hate the comic Mr.Freeze: One Bad Day, it's like... not good, but I like the Alfred moments in it. He's so festive!! He made a Christmas tree out of batarangs!!

He also is very festive in movies like The Long Halloween, the manor is decorated for all the holidays. I think it's cute that he puts in all that effort, god knows Bruce isn't helping.

I would help tho!! I think he'd let me put the star on the tree, and pick out the ornament colors. I think there'd be multiple trees in the manor, in different rooms. We could decorate every tree with a different theme!!

Question: how do you celebrate holidays with your f/o?

walk - what do you usually do when you spend time together? is there any place you especially like to hang out at? maybe somewhere that holds a deep meaning for both of you for some reason?

Most of the time, we just do butler stuff. Technically, I'm his assistant, so he does make sure I assist. We have a very wide range of duties, including caring for the big ass estate and keeping Bruce's social obligations in check. But the best part is the chit chat! Alfred loves to chat - stories from his younger years or Bruce's childhood, salacious gossip, the works.

Outside of butling, we like to watch TV to relax. He likes to watch crime procedurals and pick them apart for innacuracies. I like comedy specials and shows, Alfred doesn't get my sense of humor sometimes but he likes that I like them. We both enjoy lengthy documentaries. We also do creative stuff together! He likes to write and I like to draw. We 'review' each other's work, but it really just devolves into "I love it so much you are so talented :)"

This is gonna sound obvious, but the place we hang out most is Wayne Manor! Alfred and I don't really get out much, unless it's to do chores like grocery shopping. The manor is really special, it's Alfred's favorite place in the whole world. He takes care of it with his whole heart. Wayne Manor is his domain inside and out, he loves everything from cleaning to decorating to gardening. Anything to keep the grounds in good shape. Alfred feels like the manor was always destined to be his home.

I like the manor too, mostly because that's where Alfred and Bruce are. There's so many fun places to explore, nooks and crannies that reveal secret histories. I also like that there are little pieces of me scattered around after a while. Some glitter here, a doodle there. It makes me feel at home.

Two thoughts - 1) I'm going to call 'my self insert in a found family with alfred and bruce' ManorMouse for short and 2) methinks I'm going to write a fic with it...

1. Newest F/O? Oldest F/O? Any similarities between them? What's the biggest difference/s between them? -@scribblesshipping

HRM so... technically Alfred is both my first and newest F/O, but in the spirit of the question I'm including comfort characters (that I was obsessed with and had a self insert for). I'm gonna be so for real, completely exposing myself, but my first was the titular Ferb from PnF. I was probably in kindergarten or first grade.

I remember my parents had a friend they'd speak to on Skype. So I folded a piece of paper and drew on it to make a "computer" with a drawing of Ferb, like he was calling me. I would write about him in my diary with little hearts around his name lol. I guess the f/o bug was always in me lol.

There's one obvious similarity between Alfred and Ferb in that they're both British. In personality, they're both polite and helpful while also being geniuses in their own right, kind of a right-hand man type. The differences... well, obviously, Ferb is a child, and Alfred is an old man, though I guess both of them were contextually older than me (I was 6-8 while Ferb was 11-12).
