Nostalgia for a time of mugged wine and friends of friends round cold kitchens. Looking forward to some dark northern cities and mystery in mundane places to compensate. I love the patterns that the cold forms life into.

I found all these old blogs. It was scarily easy.  Once, a friend of a friend told that friend that he didn’t really have a social life. My friend thought for a second and then told him that, since he knew me now, he did have a social life.  It made me unbearably happy.

This trecena represents a time of alternating drought and flood. There is either not enough or too much. It is a time of hardship and suffering. The rainmaker stands alone atop the mountain, holding firesticks and a medicine bundle: help will be offered but may not be accepted. Some will have prepared for this time but not enough to care for everyone in need. These are good days to pursue solitude and learning; bad days to count on others.
