To me colress just takes the plasma frigate and fucks off for a few months before interpol knocks on the door because everyone kind of forgot about him while trying to track down ghetsis and also because he kind of wasn't doing anything anyways except puttering around route 17 and occasionally fighting the new champion kid for fun but he proves to be such a humongous pain in the ass to track down and keep in jail that they just kind of end up letting him go free with some kind of tentative deal about having to do work for the government bc nobody wants to deal with him and he seems kind of satisfied with not doing terrorism anymore since he was able to scientifically prove that friendship works better than terrorism so he just fucks off for a few years goes on vacation in hawaii in a full quilted techno-jacket until he gets a call about an alternate universe version of his old boss that he hates at which point he locks the fuck in so he can send that man back to hell. he leads such a rich and interesting life
