A traveling artist, Poki’ir Tayuun aspired to capture the thrilling lives of adventurers, mercenaries, and locals alike first hand. He left his sept in the Black Shroud at the age of eighteen after frequent trips to Gridania bore fruit - a mercenary group permitted his presence in their journey. Since then, Poki’ir has ventured across Eorzea with numerous crews. Though he has painted a number of large murals, his common pieces of artwork consist of ink sketches done in books (often captioned).
