Ash Ketchum x reader

I have no idea how Pokemon Contests work I've just had this idea bugging me for months.

Prologue:

Reader has a had a Pichu since they was very little, after Pichu evolved the two began their dream, to be the best in Pokemon Contests. One day reader meets Ash and the two begin to journey together, and grow. Ash and reader have been traveling for 4 years. Their Pikachus are about to bring them much closer together.

You were adjusting your female Pikachu's bow on her ear before grabbing her brush. "Pi~" she purred. Such a primadonna, you thought. But she's your primadonna and she's cute so can you really be mad? No, no you couldn't. After her grooming you put your hand oh too her head and she nuzzled her head up as a thanks "Pikachu~!" She cooked happily. "Awe you looks so cute" you said as you placed her on your shoulders and waited to move so she could get comfortable. You then saw yourself in the mirror of the hotel bathroom to make sure you were ready before heading out. "Hey Y/n, good morning" you turn to the voice to see Ash coming out of his room, "Ready for today?" He asked as he near you and your Pikachu. "Always am" you said as you and Ash began to walk to the elevator. Today you and Ash were going to hang out in the wilds to see if there was any interesting pokemon. Today was more a calm day since neither of you had anything to do. "Pikachu!" His Pikachu said as he was on Ash's shoulder looking at you with a wide smile, "good morning to you too buddy" you said petting the yellow mouse.

The two Pikachu's sat on the table next to you and Ash eating away happily at their own breakfast, while you and Ash had your favorite breakfast food at a small cafe outside. You and Ash were having a friendly conversation when you notice something odd about Ash's Pikachu. "Hey Ash?" In response you get a muffled 'yeah' because he was in the middle of eating. "Has Pikachu always done that?" You whisker bad point to his Pikachu. His Pikachu was currently acting shy around your Pikachu, and his cheeks seemed to be giving small zaps now and then as he just stared at your Pikachu. Ash swallowed his bite of food before asking " hey Pikachu you ok?" Pikachu didn't react until Ash placed his hand on Pikachu's head accidentally shocking the boy and Pikachu cause Ash to get zapped. Your Pikachu takes notice of what happened and goes over to his Pikachu to check on him. You don't worry about Ash since this is sort of a norm even if Pikachu isn't surprised, he'll shock anyone. "Pikachu's fine" Ash said after recovering from that whole think that happened.

After that you guys continued on with your chill day in the tall grass just playing with random wild Pokemon, getting berries, etc. For the whole day though you couldn't get both of your Pikachus behavior out of your mind. Your Pikachu had began doing the same thing she would even sit on Ash's shoulder and would stay close to his Pikachu more often than usual. You could even hear the two Pikachus conversing but while that isn't unusual, they were more..awkward than normal. It felt like they were stammering in Pokemon lingo.

Back in your hotel room you were brushing Pikachu's hair, "what's going on between you and Ash's Pikachu, you were acting really weird today?" Pikachu's reaction was strange she looked at you like she had gotten her hand caught in the cookie jar. Weird..Pikachu never acts like this. She then pick up her bow that was sitting next to her before pointing at the middle, where a faux heart jem sat. "Heart?" You asked curiously looking back up at your Pokemon. Charades was a game you and Pikachu were great at, but Ash and his Pikachu got you beat. Pikachu then pointed to herself then the heart. "You..heart.." you thought on it for a minute, "Wait...You love?" You asked curiously shooting in the dark. Pikachu then smiled and shook her head yes. "Awww you love Ash's Pikachu don't you..aww Pikachu~~" you cooked as you hugged her close. "Pikachu!" She exclaimed happily snuggling into you. "I'm sure he loves you back, he was just staring at you all day" you giggled to her and her cheeks began to zap lightly, before zapping you. Pikachu had do it on accident she you forgave her before getting ready for bed with her.

A few weeks later the two pikachus seemed to be closer than normal, I guess they confessed but you weren’t sure since you had begun getting.. distracted as of late. You and Ash have been friends for so long, but has he always been so cute when he cheers for your pokemon, or when he does something embarrassing or stupid he’s still just the cutest. You can’t help but stare, until he catches you so you lie saying you say a pokemon flying by while your face burns up. You and Ash had begun acting like the two pikachus used to act. Awkward, shy, and nervous around the other. Neither of you wanted to fight the other because you didn’t want to see their sad face when either wins but man seeing the others happy face would have been worth the sad face. 

It was getting unbearable to the other who traveled with you to see you both pinning so hard that it was beginning to get annoying. So they did what any group of friends would do, forced you guys to lunch together, by yourselves. Your pokemon sat all around you both eating as well they had a goal, to get you and Ash to confess. The pokemon were hopeful because Ash’s mouth moved faster than his brain meaning he could slip up very easily. 

“Why don’t we ever train anymore?” 

“We train-” he said getting cut off by you

“No I mean why don’t we ever train, just you and me?”

“Well you mean so much to me, you’re the girl I-” He cut himself off and grew as red as a Tamato berry.

“Ash finish that sentence”

“No” his pokemon began to surround him in comfort, Pikachu climbed his shoulder and pat his head “Pikaaa” the mouse said to comfort him. “I like you, much more than a friend would, I.. love you..” He said meeting your eyes now, both of you were blushing you then went to where he sat and gave him a kiss on the cheek while still being nervous. 

“I.. um might feel the same..” you said with a small smile. He then jumped into a hug with you as the two pikachus stared at their trainers feeling acomplished. “Wanna celebrate by training?” you asked when Ash released from the hug. 

“Do I? Come on I’m always to it with you!”

Let me explain.

1st off pokemon is a comfort of mine

BUT

I think it's a little weird when I stumble upon pokemon x reader where you are dating a Pokemon. I find comfort in the characters and in certain pokemon.

2nd I am literally just bored and I have a couple of ideas I want to just throw out into the world.

3rd I am a minor I won't do smut. Period. End of story

4th my ask box will stay open if you want to chat, send in ideas but I don't really do requests at the moment.

5th hate/harrasment = blocked 🖤 sorry but I don't have time for you if you feel so enraged by a rando on the internet, go for a walk or smth damn.

6th I will try to keep this pokemon centered with crossovers now and then below is a list of fandoms I enjoy and would be willing to crossover pokemon with. The list will change overtime.

But I am not the most knowledgeable on every single fandom.
