Hi there! I'd love to request a partner match up if possible. My name is Sky, pronouns are she/ her. I feel like I'm pretty laid back/ easy going, but also shy. I'm over all a quiet person. I lean more to the realistic side of things.

I'm a Pisces Sun, Gemini Moon, and Gemini Rising. I'm torn between Bulbasaur and Sprigatito as my favorite starters. I'm really not sure what my favorite type is, as I adore most Pokemon. I typically don't use Poison or Bug types though.

My favorite Mega is probably Lucario, as they're one of my top favorite Pokemon. My least favorite Pokemon is probably Mr. Mime.

I enjoy the ocean and swimming. I also do kickboxing for exercise, which I've come to really enjoy. Napping is also a favorite of mine. I feel like I would like a Partner that is on the smaller side that could either ride on my shoulder or walk by me while we travel.

{Say Hello to Mienfoo}

To be honest, I couldn’t help but gravitate to the Unova pokedex. It was rather subconsciously on my part. There are a lot of smaller pokemon in the dex and most of them that stuck out were Unovan. After a bit of looking, I decided on Mienfoo. Mienfoo is a pure fighting type, known as the “Martial Arts” Pokemon. It’s a small pokemon standing at around 2’11ft, 0.9m and it’s a small mon, if you’re able to lift up 44 lbs, 20kg easily. Throughout all their dex entries, they’re seen as ambitious yet aggressive pokemon, something to offset your laid-back personality, as stated in it’s Pokemon Shield Entrie, “Though small, Mienfoo’s temperament is fierce. Any creature that approaches Mienfoo carelessly will be greeted with a flurry of graceful attacks.” Because of this trait, I can see it being very protective of you and always willing to either work or train with you.

Deino; Another “aggressive” pokemon, they bite and headbut a lot of things to get to know their surroundings, I could see a cute dynamic between you and the Deino

Munchlax; Leaning more into the Laid-back personality I can see Munchlax hyping you up during training/swimming but also being there to relax and hang out with you when you don’t

Archen; I don’t really know why I chose Archen, just something told me that it would be a good match.

{Say Hello to Gastrodon [East Sea]}

Looking through the Sinnoh Pokédex felt like a great start for you, with an attachment for Diamond/Pearl. Quite a few pokemon on the list stuck out to me, but Gastrodon stuck out the most. Gastrodon is known as the “Sea Slug” Pokemon and are water/ground types. I decided on the East Sea form because you don’t see that kind very often. Though none of it’s pokedex entries talk about its personality, I see it as a more quiet affectionate pokemon, something that would fit well with your ambivert personality.

Gastrodon is unique in a way, each of its two forms have separate dex entries depending on the games, though there seems to be a trend throughout the entries that Gastrodon used to have a sturdy shell on its back, which is interesting in its own right. For the East Sea Form, in pokemon Ultra Moon, it expands on the shell concept stating, “A relative of Shellder and Cloyster, this ocean dweller sometimes comes onto land in search of food.” While in pokemon Shield it states “Its body is covered in a sticky slime. It’s very susceptible to dehydration, so it can’t spend too much time on land.” I can picture a very cute scene of you watering your Gastrodon like a little plant.

Toxicroak; I don’t really have a concrete reason other than, in my opinion, Toxicroak is such an underrated pokemon.

Hello there! Since matchups are up, I’d like to do one, though you have all rights to ignore/delete this request.

My name is Belle (Dunno if you wanted my real name, so I put one of my nicknames instead if you don’t mind it) and my pronouns are They/Them. My personality is mostly quiet, shy, and overall introverted whether it be indoors/outdoors and full of people/Pokémon, I’d stay at the most secluded space and mind my own business; However, I’d warm up to others once I see them on a day to day basis. Other than that, I mostly indulge myself in books and absorb factual information that not many people know about (may it be on nature itself or more complex things like space).

My zodiac sign is Aquarius and my favorite starter is Oshawott, favorite type is Water and mega evolution is Mega Lucario. Some other things to know about me is that I can be quite intense when sharing knowledge about something when asked whereas I can be also adaptable to whatever situation I am, but can be easily frustrated at the same time (you can say I’m highly emotional). {Say Hello to Azumarill}

Azumarill is known as the ‘Aqua Rabbit Pokemon’ and is a Water/Fairy type which I feel suits you perfectly.

As a pokemon that can hear anything moving in fast-moving rivers or deep lakes, I believe they would be the best to help you out of those tough situations where you don’t want to talk to people.

Azumarill will pick up when you’re reading about nature, and take you out into the wild. And with a superb hearing, you wouldn’t need to worry too much about getting home safely.

In the Pokedex entries for Pokemon Sapphire, it says, “Azumarill can make balloons out of air. It makes these air balloons if it spots a drowning Pokémon. The air balloons enable the Pokémon in trouble to breathe.” While in pokemon Pearl, it says “It’s long ears are superb sensors. It can distinguish the movements of living things on riverbeds”
