POET KIPTOO
Poet Kiptoo is back,
Back with good news,
News from the streets of Eldoret,
Back with tales,
Tales of the past Sirikwa people,
Back to inspire,
Inspire change for better living,
Poet Kiptoo is back,
Back to the world,
Back to serve humanity
Back to paint hearts,
Paint hearts colorful,
Back to drink out,
Eat till full,
Laugh and live.

Arguably Eldoret is a principal city in Rift Valley region and the fifth largest in the country also serves as the capital of Uasin Gishu County. Books of history tell the name “Eldoret” is originates from a Maasai word “eldore” meaning “stony river”; a reference to the bed of the River Sosiani  (a tributary of the Nile), that runs through the city.
