Was lucky enough to pick up SuperPower: Nighthawk #1-6. The complete miniseries.
#1 has the beauty of older Moon Knight screwy reality. You are introduced immediately to a Hero of the Boys level bluntness and dragged into his mangled reality to the point where you believe you are rooting for an untrustworthy narrator. It’s wonderful and exhilarating. Must read!!!

Talk Stories #2 shows up lacking. Passionate back story making a hard edge character softer in a way I’m not fully comfortable with. There is a beauty to the actions in this. There is a beauty to the growth. Monstress has the throughline of a great warrior. Cute sidebar.

My wife gave me #’s 1 and 2 Of Talk Stories. This issue is emotion forward writing. You’re compelled by empathy which is rare in comic books. The stories are heartfelt and intense. Good to read for a good cry!
