“Candle Keeper” Character design practice. • The candle keepers serve at the mage’s academy to teach younger mages how to perform spellcraft with fire. They teach the basics, shaping the flames, sparking the wick from a snap of the finges, and feeding the flame into a blaze. They teach in the stone halls beneath the academy, devoid of flammable furnishings and sealed from the outside winds. • All straight-edged vector graphics. “Vervain” Rabbitfolk Gunslinger (‘Gun-gun Bun-bun) Commission done for Zac. • Player’s notes: A cold and imperial soldier on the outside, but a caring and devoted protector down to their heart. Vervain was once a soldier, since then defected and roaming of their own accord. The remorse they feel for their actions in the military are balanced only by their attempts to help others they happen across. Their firearms are their closest ally for the moment; a short palm pistol matched to a pepperbox, complimented by an ornate looking blunderbuss. Prototypes from their families workshop, stolen before the defection. Maybe fate will happen upon them and give them a new found purpose. “Joy” Race: Human Class: Rogue/Wizard Background: Urchin Familiar: Owl “Yewon” Favorite Spells: Chromatic Orb, Thunderwave • Commission for Teddy, one of the fellow players I’ve met on the Realm of the Fallen D&D Discord server. Joy is a teenaged Korean wizard from modern times transport into the Realm of the Fallen. Her trusty owl friend Yewon has stuck beside her through many adventures. In the Realm, the rain can sometimes be toxic with raw mana, and prolonged exposure can damage and even transform the battery. “Kurgi and Wilson” Oathbreaker Paladin, Pirate Dwarf, Skull Enthusiast. Kurgi is one of my oldest D&D characters, and Wilson is his oldest friend. Originally an Oath of Devotion paladin, Kurgi was sworn to protect and fight beside first his ship, then later his guild. His ship was destroyed, and later his guild fractured apart, and when Lurgi turned against his fellow guildsmen his final oath was broken. Now he only fends for himself and his pet skull. Wilson has been with Kurgi since the beginning, in the first dungeon I played as the dwarf he found a humanoid skull, which he decided to take as a souvenir, and will often be found talking to or puppeting the skull. We’re an online D&D 5e community focusing on the creation, collaboration, and exploration of the campaign setting. We’re welcoming player, dungeons masters, world builders, fantasy enthusiasts, and rules lawyers to join our community and adventure, run, and build onto our campaign setting!

Currently on Facebook, Discord, and Wikia Our first community-wide event will be focusing on the in-world Holy War: the Third Valencion Crusade! Valencion is a Sacred Island where people from all around the world come to worship at the vast and varied temples and shrines there. Previously co-ruled, the island has long been the source of high tensions between the kingdoms surrounding the Fathering Sea. Now, after the invasion by the Dawn’s Inquisition, the Grand Temple has fallen under the control of Lord Leonius Harthfel. Now all kingdoms and priesthoods are calling on those loyal to them, as a war broods and heroes from around the world answer the call to fight for honor, faith, and glory! What will you fight for?

Plot twist: Disney announces Frozen II. The first trailer comes out and it’s featuring the regular gang: Anna, Elsa, Olaf, the funny looking kid with the reindeer, and a big bad scary villain that we only see a shadow for. You buy your tickets, drag your kids to the theater, get popcorn, find your seats, settle in. The doors close, lights fade, the trailers play right up till the main event. The Frozen II title card comes up, and the hole thing goes and ends in just nine and a half minutes e, like shorter than Olaf’s Frozen adventure that they slapped on to the beginning of Coco. Nine minutes, done. The credits start rolling, and you wonder if you somehow dozed off for an hour? But the kids are still wide awake, and they looked just as confused as the credits roll and Ariana Grande sings a new cover of Let it Go. BOOM! Your head flips back to the screen, the credits begin to static in and out, as the camera zooms out to a toy-ridden living room with the tv flickering in and out. The tv power flickers off, as do the lights. Outside a window left of the tv you can now see a night time cityscape where one by one the buildings down the street lose power and flicker into darkness. Booming echoes, as if some gargantuan monstrosity is storming closer. Around the corner of a building emerges a huge figure, eclipsing the sunset. The same shadowy figure from the trailers. Then you hear it, from within the walls of the apartment, “Honeyyyyyyy?!? Where’s my super suit?” Frozen title card slaps back onto screen, only this time there’s ice being blasted onto the “e” into a big “o”, then the ice blasts an “E” on the end. And that’s how “Frozone” begins.
