it is so exhausting working to keep up my masking while im actively being burned alive by said mask. i was telling my mom today that i actually dont know my limits or baseline functioning because ive just worked through them/despite them because thats all i could do. and it is so awful feeling like i have a ball of burning coal of rage in my chest because i dont know how to make myself better. i think im finally grieving the thought that i can ever be like everyone else, even though i knew i will never be neurotypical at age 13. how can i unravel this muddled form thats supposed to be me? i feel like a kid playing dress-up. work has so many invisible expectations that are confusing and impossible to articulate, and i have to perform highly or else we fail. there are too many changes happening there, and the customers are awful. i cant have a set day off, and i have to work because i have to have insurance.

When I first heard of Mouthwashing I read something about "giving Curly his medicine" and I thought "Great! this is going to be one of those salon games but with a Dark Twist!"

My assumption was you'd play a medic role and were responsible for changing his bandages and brush his teeth, etc. Meanwhile the player would slowly learn about the terrible situation the crew and ship are in while taking care of Curly. I was honestly kinda disappointed (at first) when my brother and I checked out the game and it wasn't like that at all.
