Different from my usual projects, but I got a kit to make a chainmaille fish plushie! Rings are 18swg aluminum and rubber. Doesn't look like much yet but I'm almost done with the main pattern piece

Working on pinguino number 2! Straying from my usual choice of felt by making this one out of some cut up old tshirts. Not used to working with fabric that has stretch, but it's a good skill to work on I think.

Cutting pieces for the latest project - a lucent moth for my friend who adores them. Hoping the strips I'm cutting for the wings all line up and end up giving something of the crystalline effect that the lucent moth wings have? It oughta look better once I do all the detail stitching

The fishy! I'm really happy with this little friend. The embroidery came out just how I hoped, although next time I might space the scales out a bit more. The body and dorsal fin are made with glitter felt, which in person adds these pretty blue-green flecks, but unfortunately on camera just looks like dust :/

Day 2 of @fish-daily 's Fishuary - Salmonid- a couple days late lol. But I started it on the second I swear!

Based off the free Chinook salmon pattern by Downeast Thunder Farm, modified with an extra belly panel to round it out a bit and allow me to add all the paired fins.
