The concept of Sayid becoming a hand-holder on the island. Hands that for years have caused pain now being used to soothe, to mend. Claire grabbing his hand when she’s scared, Kate lacing their hands together as they linger down the shore in the mornings, Sun tracing the soft curve of his palm absentmindedly while they watch Jin fish, Jack pressing their hands together after a few drinks to compare size only to find out they match perfectly. Sayid letting himself find a home in these touches.

Would anyone be interested in beta reading a Kate/Sayid fic,,, I’m almost finished with the first chapter,, it starts the night of What Kate Did and I plan on making it continue through season 2 all the way to mid-season 3/late season 3, although I’m not sure how many chapters there will be.
