Confirmation of World Bank Donation
The Wall Street Journal has received confirmation from multiple sources within the World Bank that the organization gave $1 million to the Malawi Government. The Bank originally was going to give $275,000, but upon seeing a report by The Nation that the World Bank had given $1 million, the donation promptly changed to a million.

Jubilation in Malawian National Government with Cholera and Food Crisis Over and Surplus of $3,000,000
At 4:33 PM, the Malawian National Government broke into cheers with a food and cholera crisis over and a surplus of money as a result of generous donations from the World Bank, IMF, and other major institutions. Kondwani Nankhumwa, Interim Head of Parliament, said that the government was proud of “all the good that we have done for the people of Malawi” and the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the government succeeded in “solving the crises and investing in the future of our people.”

In Malawian central headquarters, ministers argue over whom to support for presidential candidacy. The former government's leader and leader of the opposition struggled to maintain unity. Furthermore, the corrupt minister of health acts behind the scenes playing the leader as a puppet. Certain individuals around the table have informed me that they would rather run themselves, but fear the social repercussions. With a government disunited as it is now, we at the Malawi Truth cannot support the party's candidate as long as the former regime is in control. Let us remember that this regime lost 2.25 million dollars for the people, mishandled two crises, and led the country into anarchical civil war. Let the seemingly bright faces of the leaders not persuade you to vote for this terrible regime. Either the government must promote a new candidate or the farmers must win. #shemustgo

African Union Demands it not be Forgotten
Representatives from the African Union have expressed dismay at the enormous amount of praise being heaped onto the SADC in solving the Cholera Crisis. The African Union committed the vast majority of the $1,000,000 sum committed to the crisis -- spending $835,000 thousand dollars to the 1 million dollar sum.
Representatives said that they were glad to help the people of Malawi and do not wish to discredit the SADC’s valiant role in the process, but would appreciate not being left out of the conversation given the enormous amount of support they have committed to ending this crisis.

Apparently the Wall Street Journal is once again not credible. It is so sad that journalism has been reduced to this. They have to check their facts because they falsely claimed that the SADC Advisor on Macro-Economic Surveillance and Performance was Jennifer O'Reilly. This offended the SADC, as they quickly reached out to the Daily Sun, real news to confirm that this position is actually filled by Jhoas Sumatra.
