Ok so today I turn 29.... and to think I’ve been doing this for 10 years now is so crazy! 2 months ago we had a break in at our HQ which resorted in about 60k’s worth of stock between @playdotapparel and @longlive_studios being stolen, among those items where a lot of personal things and 1 off samples for future collabs.. This put me in a seriously dark place, feeling like through all the ups and downs of life this was just the icing on the cake.. I wasn’t going to put out any form of statement but just to keep on striving, but the weight of the loss became a lot for myself @skitz_playdot and @wilfriedzaha . Through all the ups and downs my closest friends and family have given me the strength to carry on and slowly as a team we started building again.. What’s the point of saying all this. (LOL) not everything is what it seems based on outward appearances, smiles and laughs... Above all I have infinite joy because I have a God who guides me, a wife @thisismyreeal and daughter who love and support me, 2 DOPE and inspiring business partners @skitz_playdot and @wilfriedzaha who are my brothers and even doper supporters like you guys who show nothing but love and positivity through the 10 years we have been driving this! AAAHHHH MAN! My @gshock_uk / @gshocklondon fam really hooked me up with this one!!! Anyone who knows me or has followed the journey knows what this specific model and colour way means to us! In fact... it was because of this very model that we solidified our signature colour way. It’s how well the colours sit together 🤤 Back in 09 having a G-Shock was like having a Rolex 😂🤣 and to this day I still wear them as I did on day 1.
