and i don’t want to jinx it, but i know exactly what- no- WHO it is.

and i hope it doesn’t change anytime soon.

you wanna know what’s unfair?

it is so unbearably EASY to be kind. to be gentle. and yet it’s so rare in the world.

ive dated my fair share of people in the past. no one, and i mean NO ONE, has ever been as gentle and kind as the guy i’m with now.

and i didn’t have to beg him for it either. he asks me if i’m comfortable with everything that happens, he doesn’t just expect anything.

i could get used to this.

but any time i think about it, i just find it so weird this was impossible for so many others.

Gifted kid burnout is:

being exhausted in school but still being the first one done

not being able to do any homework because it’s too tiring but feeling awful when you don’t

putting in the bare minimum but still doing better than everyone else

feeling guilty that you can’t put in any more effort

etc

The realization i’ve made is that every version of Hook is attractive.

In Descendants Harry Hook is the best character.

In every single Peter Pan retelling I’ve loved Hook.

The list goes on and on.

the reason enemies to lovers gets me is because i’ve never had someone stay in my life after seeing the worst parts of me.

sometimes you need someone to see the good in you, even when the rest of the world can only see the bad.

you need someone to love you, even when everyone else hates you.
