The best screen-casting software out there! The instructions guide it's really extensive and things are kind of hard to understand if you're a novice (YouTube tutorials can help you a lot on this).

H264, and that's one of the best things about it. Rookie streamer, if you're reading this and want to take a challenge, download and install OBS right now, it's the best solution for your project if you're on a tight budget.Īs said, sometimes it lags the computer a bit if you didn't set up the whole thing correctly. You can add a capture device, you can capture your own desktop, a window, you can even add GIFs, images and videos and resize them or drag them through the screen. The software was using a lot of ram on my laptop at first, but after tweaking the settings a bit, it became really lightweight. About video, the settings for streaming are useful if your internet connection it's not too good or if your PC/laptop it's not the most powerful out there. On audio, you can set different audio tracks, separate them and record them. I like to think about OBS as a solution for basic or minimalistic projects.

The whole package its free to use, while limited sometimes, if you learn how to set it up (Wiki and guides are really useful on the official website), you're good to go. I used a lot of streaming software at first, skipping OBS for no reason, but when I tried the software I was in awe.
Obs studio recording come out bad series#
I started using OBS while doing a film series in my city, the project was open to the public, but the pandemic forced me to turn the thing into an online project. While looking at the stream I really thought it looked professional, and I was very satisfied. It was a slow learning curve and at first really confused me, but OBS Studio was the best solution for my project. OBS, the king of streaming (on budget) studios Not only is audio delay and issue, but audio sync with the video being streamed, but this has got far beter with each version update. The good thing about this however, is there is a built in audio delay where you can purposefully delay someones audio so it matches the delay of other person streaming or recording. The issue I had with the software was calibrating OBS audio so that there were no delays in the streams audio. Other than this the software is very intuitive and easy to use, especially if the main purpose is streaming, and screen sharing across a stream. Any issues using the software is quickly solved by the great cupport community. It has tons of support and a very well rounded community backing its use. The fact that OBS Studio is free and open source. I've used it in both capacities for streaming gaming to twitch, as well as an educational stream over twitch through both schools and colleges. For the purpose of streaming its fantastic with all the 'bells and whistles' next to the paid version that are out there. Overall i've found OBS to be a great free streaming software. I have not yet reached a conclusion if it is a software failure or a limitation of my computer."īest FREE screen and stream recording software out there
icon "In my case it sometimes crashes or simply stops recording content.
icon "That can means sending the wrong feed live at times - the power of OBS needs to be fully understood so that you don't make simple errors.".
icon "I disliked the user interface because it is hard to manipulate things in real time.".
icon "Not to mention the integration with the elgato stream deck is amazing, and has allowed me to use OBS in ways it was not originally intended (cue'd premade video assets for a live show).".
I also loved being able to change back and forth between scenes."
icon "I liked that I was able to integrate my own layouts and have them show up on my screen.
You can get up and running quickly, and it's very customizable."

PET imaging with NETSPOT has 2 to 3 times higher spatial resolution than somatostatin receptor scintigraphy with. We’re proud to be leaders in the field, working in 6 clinics located throughout the state. Since then, we’ve been bringing New Mexico patients leading-edge technology like NetSpot. Newer imaging agents targeting SSTR labeled with 68Ga have subsequently been developed, namely, DOTATATE and DOTATOC (7). FDA-approved in 2016, NETSPOT is used in imaging to locate somatostatin receptor positive neuroendocrine tumors in adult and pediatric patients. NETSPOT ( 68 Ga-Dotatate) is a radioactive diagnostic agent used for PET imaging that is gaining ground among practices. Once the scan is started, the procedure will take 30 – 60 minutes. The Clinical Impact of Utilizing NETSPOT. Once you’re injected with NetSpot, your technician will ask that you wait between 40 and 90 minutes to proceed with the scan. Those taking short-acting versions of this medication can use them up to 24 hours prior to their procedure. If you’re taking a long-acting somatostatin analog, your scan will be scheduled before your next dose. If you’re taking Somatostatin analogs, it’s important that your doctor know. Guides therapeutic response: Due to the quality of captures obtained with this technology, oncologists can respond with more accurately targeted therapies.Īnd when this diagnostic is chosen, patients can source a new treatment for NETs – Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT).Higher quality images: The images produced by the PET scan used in combination with NetSpot are of a much higher resolution, which makes abnormalities easier to spot – even miniscule ones.Faster: NetSpot takes only 2 hours, whereas the octreoscan traditionally used as a diagnostic is a three-day process. With NetSpot, tumor detection is enhanced is 3 key ways: NETs absorb glucose very slowly in comparison to other cancers but contain somatostatin receptors. NetSpot deploys Ga-68 dotatate, a radioactive clone of a hormone which serves to bind somatostatin receptors, making tumors visible. NetSpot can identify even the smallest abnormalities with more success than other type of imaging agent currently in use. Previously, PET scans relied on tracers which identified tumors using radiolabeled glucose. PET scans on their own tend not to be effective in detecting these types of tumors, due to their slower uptake of glucose (unlike other cancer tumors).īut now, NetSpot has been developed. Their size makes them difficult to detect early.Īpproved by the FDA in 2016, NetSpot is a new tool which has revolutionized the standard positron emission tomography (PET). Vienna beef
#VIENNA BEEF FREE#
Of course, a visit to the Vienna Beef History Museum wouldn't be complete without a gustatory experience. A lot has changed since the men opened their store, but their sausage is still made the same way 125 years later. While Ladany and Reichel can’t be credited with creating the Chicago-style hot dog-which was born from the recipes of 20th-century immigrants-their wiener has become the quintessential heart of it. Today, more than 90 percent of Chicago hot dog stands serve Vienna Beef sausages, McGlade says. One decade later, to keep up with the high demand, the company moved into a new factory on Damen Avenue. It knocked down the original plant in style, commissioning a wrecking ball shaped like a giant sausage to do the job. A portrait of Davis identifies him as “Father of the Modern Hot Dog Stand.”īy 1962, Vienna Beef products were appearing in supermarkets. In later decades, the company’s vice president of sales, Henry Davis, worked with hundreds of hot dog stand owners, helping them to launch their businesses in return, they stocked Vienna Beef sausages. This fleet became motorized in 1928, and business, of course, got bigger. Ladany and Reichel began supplying sausages to other retailers and food stands, with horse-drawn carriages initially delivering the goods. Photo: Claire Voonīlack-and-white photographs at the museum document how one store grew into a booming empire. The pair was Jewish and used beef in their products-hence, the company’s name.Ī cocktail sausage, gold-plated in the 1970s. Sales were so strong they ended up purchasing a storefront on South Halsted Street the following year. Trained in sausage-making in the Austrian capitol, they set up a stand to sell their chops at a prime location near one of the fair’s entrances. Among them were Vienna Beef’s founders, Samuel Ladany and Emil Reichel, brothers-in-law who had arrived in Chicago three years before. The 1893 Columbian Exhibition featured a number of sausage vendors from Germany and Austria-Hungary jostling for attention. “There are also curious artifacts that demonstrate the evolution of the Chicago-style hot dog from its very beginning at the World’s Fair to today.” “The rich history of Vienna Beef and how it’s been part of the fabric of Chicago-that’s the number one thing that people can walk away with,” McGlade says. Visitors can check out a retired sausage stuffer from 1859, hand-painted signs by Gus Korn, and a whole row of merchandise that underscores the hot dog’s prominent role in local sports culture. Much of the material on view was in company offices, while other objects came from the Vienna Beef factory, which occupied the building between 19. He also served as its curator, foraging for objects that, for the most part, have never before been on public display. McGlade, working with the company’s chairman and president, came up with the idea to create the Vienna Beef History Museum as one way to engage customers in the quasquicentennial celebrations. “I’m sure it’s turned into a rock by now.” “That came out of somebody’s drawer,” says Tom McGlade, Vienna Beef’s vice president of marketing/eCommerce. Occupying a former plant room, the small exhibition features archival documents and an array of paraphernalia that chronicle the company’s origins and evolution-including one surviving gold-plated sausage keychain, whose tips have gone green from corrosion.

This year, Vienna Beef turns 125. To celebrate its long history of hawking hot dogs-most famously, Chicago-style hot dogs-it recently opened a free museum at its Chicago headquarters on 2501 N. It’s the least appetizing way Chicago’s leading hot dog supplier has ever dressed up a sausage in its many decades of being in the business. Cocktail franks were sent to California, where a specialist encased each in a thin coat of metal. In the 1970s, someone at Vienna Beef came up with a one-of-a-kind idea to promote the company’s sausages: electroplate them in 24-karat gold, and turn the results into keychains to hand out to customers.
