Extra Virgin Pizza
Rocket Ham, ordered from Extra Virgin Pizza. Roughly 12 inches in diameter, featuring tomato, prosciutto de parma, robioka, scamorza, whatever "rocket" is, fior di latte, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Basically a salad stuck on top of limp dough with prosciutto on top. $32 SGD.
Skip it! The pizza was structurally unsound, falling apart and a real annoyance to try to eat. You can get better pizza for a better price on the island.

Homemade pizza!
Made this sucker from scratch! Roughly 14 x 10 inches, featuring a whole lotta stuff: Tomato paste base, chicken hotdogs (finely sliced), cherry tomatoes, spinach, garlic, American cheese. Basically whatever was around my fridge.
I know this technically doesn't fit the criteria for this blog, but I do not care. Pizza is too expensive in SG and it's beyond frustrating to have to pay +$30 for decent pizza. So I'll just learn to make it myself.
Dough recipe comes from Good and Cheap by Leanne Brown (legally free PDF at author's website).

John's Pizzaria
Veggie Supreme/Supreme/Hawaiian/(don't remember), ordered from John's Pizzeria. Roughly 10 x 13 inches, featuring a whole lotta stuff.
My favorite pizza in Singapore so far. It billed itself as a deep dish, but really it is more Detroit style. It was pretty dense, so it took some work to digest this sucker... or I'm not used to eating that much cheese and bread anymore.

Wine Connection
Burrata Pizza, at Wine Connection @ Paya Lebar. Roughly 10 inches in diameter, featuring burrata cheese, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and red sauce.
It was okay, not much to write home about. I think I'm just not wild about burrata cheese? First time having this type of cheese, and I may prefer it plain on its own.

NOM Bistro
Duck Pizza, at NOM Bistro. Roughly 10 inches in diameter, featuring sliced roasted duck, cherry tomatoes, parm and mozzarella cheeses.
Had this in early May, but forgot to post. I think it was good? The mushroom pizza is still my favorite from NOM.

Domino's
It was going to happen at some point...
The Classy Chic, at Domino's. XL, roughly 15 inches in diameter (feeds two), featuring mozzarella cheese, chicken sausage, onion, green pepper, black olives. It was fine. Standard dominos - not amazing, not terrible.
Location: Multiple.

Blue Label Pizza
[no picture - was eating with someone new and completely forgot to take one]
The Original Famous, at Blue Label Pizza. Roughly 14 inches in diameter (feeds two okay), featuring five cheese blend, tomato, basil. The best pizza I've had in SG by far, but with a $32 SGD price tag I will not be a regular. This is also the pizza place I get recommended the most by locals.
Location: Multiple. I went to 333A Orchard Road, #03-02 Mandarin Gallery

Elemen
This week in things pretending to be pizza that aren't...
Hawaiian Pizza, at Elemen. Roughly 12 inches in diameter, featuring mushroom, pineapple, red peppers, black olive and mozzarella cheeses. Good - but not a pizza. This is an elaborate cheese quesadilla.

NOM Bistro
Bacon Broccoli and Pumpkin Pizza, at NOM Bistro. Roughly 10 inches in diameter, featuring bacon, broccoli, pumpkin, tomato base, mozzarella cheese.
Decent pizza at a decent price - $18, added an extra $2 for the lunch special to get soup and tea. Dough was on the crispier side, which I like.

Kapitan (not pizza)
Lunch Special, at Kapitan. Features Kompot (drink), beef bliny, salad, and cold soup (don't remember the type).
This place has no pizza, but is one of my favorite restaurants in Singapore so far. The Siberian dumplings are my go-to homesick food (it reminds me of the meatballs I used to eat when I was a little kid).
I've been three times and had quite a bit of the menu. I recommend nearly everything, except the medovik cake (too dry). Their happy hour vodka martinis are strong and worth the $15 price. I recommend the blackcurrant.

Bacino
Margherita Pizza, at Bacino. Full size is roughly 14 inches in long, featuring mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce.
An okay pizza at a bit-too-high price of $25. A standard margherita pizza, not bad or good. I somehow managed to inadvertently order an $8 bottle of water, which soured me on ever returning to the restaurant.

Momma's Pizza & Rice Meal
Vegetarian Pizza, at Momma's Pizza & Rice Meal. Full size is roughly 11 inches in diameter, featuring corn, black olives, green and red peppers, mushrooms, tomato base, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Decent pizza at a fantastic price - $8.50 for the whole thing. Dough was a little chewy, and the sauce a little tangy-er than I like. The price and location makes up for it.
Location: 121 Geylang East Central, # 01-90 [hawker center stall]

BreadTalk
Hawaiian Dream [Pizza Bread], at BreadTalk. Single slice, roughly 5 inches long, featuring pineapple, ham, tomato base, unknown cheese.
Surprisingly decent for a pizza bread. Had it twice, cold, while out and about. Not enough for a meal, but definitely a hearty snack. And $3.80 is a decent price.
Location: Throughout Singapore. Seriously, there are dozens (if not hundreds) of them throughout the island.

Georges
Hawaiian Pizza, at Georges @ taiseng. Roughly 10 inches in diameter, featuring pineapple, ham, mozzarella, tomato base.
Most notable thing was the tomato sauce - pleasantly seasoned (basil, I think?) Good size, plenty filling. Was $20 SGD on the dinner menu, but I think that's just the price of pizza in SG (was spoiled by the massive $3 slices in NJ).
