In memory of Judith Holmes Clarke, who passed away earlier this year in March.

She was one of the leading artists for the Disney Fairies book series (and one of few Disney credited). Her art shaped the brand to the point it was even featured in the end credits of the first Tinker Bell movie. Judith passed away the same year Disney Fairies series celebrates its 20th anniversary 😢

I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner, but thank you, Judith, for being my inspiration for so many years. I only wish I could've said it in person. May your soul rest in peace

It started less than a month ago.

When I saw purple buds at the end of the neighborhood path… These are flowers that bloom only in spring. similar to the sage flowers.

They smelled strong and far away, And their lifespan during the year is only about two / three months.. After a few weeks when I passed by the orange trees A fresh scent of orange blossom surrounded me… The orange trees started blooming earlier than usual! Even when the oranges are still on the trees - The white flower buds with the intoxicating smell also appeared. They started their cycle before they finished the previous one!

The pink and colorful flowers appeared on the trees in the neighborhood And filled the tops… as if they all decided to blossom, All flowers of all kinds - at the same time. Earlier than usual…

You can say - all the spring flowers came early this year..

And maybe not, but for sure - Spring is here. And maybe this is the beginning of redemption.. Of peace, of new hope..

Beck is an animal talent fairy and is good friends with Fawn! I remember especially loving her character in the Gail Carson Levine trilogy because of her relationship with Mother Dove. I always wanted to be like Beck growing up!

The next fairy for Pixie Hollow faebruary is Rosetta! Drawing her in this pose was a lot of fun! I also really enjoy the contrast of green and pink! Her design is so lovely ❤️🌹
