Once again, I’m late posting my update.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments on my boyfriend’s cross stitch, I made sure he saw them. He’s a bit excited that his stitch is becoming one of my more popular posts lol!

I hate it when greek mythology comes up in and people ask why i know so much about it and i have to pretend that my entire knowledge of Greek Mythology did not come from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, written by Rick Riordan

Because I’m tired of the “Steve sucks at modern technology” trope.  He was picking up and using HYDRA tech that was powered by the tesseract in WWII. And user interfaces were pretty un-intuitive back then — knobs labeled in German or French, most likely.  And think about the number of dials and thingamabobs on an airplane control panel!  Yes, he’s a man out of time, but it’s probably the social stuff that’s much harder to adjust to.  (You can tell he’s recently-thawed because he still insists on wearing at least a button-down shirt and suspenders when out in public.)

One thing I like about Pixar films is how the happy ending isn’t always what you think it’ll be. The toys don’t go with Andy to college, Gusteau’s restaurant gets closed down, Mike and Sully get kicked out of university, Carl never gets Ellie to Paradise Falls. But they find out that what they wanted isn’t necessarily what they needed, and I really like the fact that kids get to learn that life doesn’t always turn out the way they dreamed and that’s okay.

Anyway I miss Peggy Carter violently beating the absolute everloving fuck out of dudes with any object within her reach while upbeat jazz music is playing in the background
