Your grian design and wings are so satisfy and unique but I always get confused with his toes. Like what kind of feets are these, chickens ?

i believe they're called zygodactylous feet, where 1st and 4th fingers point backward, and 2nd and 3rd point forward. this type of feet is good for climbing, holding and grabbing stuff (aka very useful for building in minecraft, uh huh yeah). parrots, woodpeckers, owls and cuckoos have those

also, tried to keep the updates on the process while drawing! still forgot to take most of the pictures, but oh well, better than nothing

it usually goes like: finding a page of the sketchbook that i don't like and want to cover up -> small sketch -> big sketch -> more detailed sketch that i forgot to take a picture of -> random colors -> some more colors -> ✨black✨ -> final details and done!

hello!!! uh, this is a bit of an odd request, but i wanted to ask how you draw chip with the bandana on his head, cause I've been struggling with that and its hard to find references.

i draw it like this! i think i just searched up "how to tie a bandana" on pinterest and looked for videos of people showing different ways to tie it until i found what i needed lol. not the most accurate way, but it looks cool!

realistically it should look something more like this, otherwise it would slip off his head constantly. but who caaaares about realism anyway am i right (<- says the guy who cares the most about realism (well, not realism but believability (is this even a word?)))

how do u draw hands?

i uhhhh fake it until i make it

mostly focusing on shape and silhouette over anatomy and realism

if you need any tips mmmm

you really don't need to draw 3 bends on the fingers, two is enough most of the time

in real life your fingers of course don't follow a set curve, but it looks really good in art so who caress

drawing fingernails can help a lot in figuring out how the hand works

remember that palms have some thickness to them and aren't just flat. it gets me a lot

i mean. actually just look at your hands, it's a perfect collection of references right there and you have two of them!
