Your F/O shows their love in quiet ways that often go unnoticed at first. Some selfshippers are non-sharing because selfshipping is an outlet for feeling like they are chosen out of anyone else and are utterly adored above all by their F/O(s).

Many selfshippers are emotionally and physically isolated, have low self-esteem and confidence, have relationship hang ups, mental health issues and many other things, and they selfship for comfort. And that is so beautiful and an absolutely healthy and acceptable coping mechanism.

And unless a non-sharer is specifically invading a double’s personal space to invalidate their feelings and ship? Or encouraging others to mistreat doubles on their behalf? They are fully allowed to denounce all other ships with their F/O(s) and refer to themselves as their one true love.

They’re allowed to hate that doubles break that sense of immersion and feel insecure and jealous. They’re allowed to express that on THEIR pages. They’re allowed to call them dupes, they can say that they’re jealous as long as they’re not singling out anyone by name. It’s everybody’s responsibility to block whatever they don’t like to see and simply mind their business.

If one feels uncomfortable because somebody affirms and comforts themselves by calling themselves their F/O’s only partner, then they can lend some empathy and compassion and imagine how they must feel in turn. Selfshipping is inherently self indulgent and hence selfish! Let people do what works for them as long as they’re not forcing it onto others.

You're their home, the comfort they need, the warmth in their chest which soothes their stresses and fears. regardless of how much you draw or if you consider yourself good at drawing, your f/o thinks you are the most talented person in the world. they always compliment your latest masterpiece and point out everything they like about it!

I'm sure most of you know about Akihiko Kondo. He's the man who married Miku a while back in 2018. But recently, an unnamed woman just married her favorite character from Blue Lock! And I'm so here for it!!! 👏🏽👏🏽

Whether it be a symbolic marriage or not, I honestly love seeing people marry their f/o's!! Getting all dressed up, renting venues, inviting friends, the entire thing! 👏🏽👏🏽 It's just so wholesome and refreshing, it puts a smile on my face. Maybe one day I'll marry my f/o as well~

F/Os that are sad that you don't see yourself the way they see you, but also. F/Os that are angry. Not at you, but at the world that made their love see themself as less than they are. At the people that gave you these insecurities in the first place. F/Os that want to tear the world apart, burn it down because does a world that doesn't love you for who you are deserve to exist?

Imagine your F/O running a bath for you.

They know you well. They know exactly what temperature you like best, which towels are pleasant for you to use, and what clothes you like to slip into after getting all nice and clean.

They prepare it all for you, and let you pick soaps and scents of your choice. Would you like a scented candle? Or two? Maybe they should go down a more cheesy route and scatter rose petals into the water. Of course you get all these things - you’re special to them, and you deserve to feel special.

Would you prefer a bath bomb instead? Do you like bath toys? Your F/O doesn’t think you’re childish or anything like that. As long as you’re happy and comfortable, they’ll prepare anything for you.

If you’d like your privacy, they will respect that and step away in the meantime. If you want them to stay, they gently massage your neck and scalp if you like that, or simply watch with a smile if you prefer not to be touched.

Or they join you, if you’re comfortable… they’re happy to have such a lovely experience with you either way.

You’re so perfect to them. Your body deserves to be treated with care.

After the bath, they remind you to use lotion. Either they prepare it for you, or even help you apply it if you’re comfortable. All the way, they’re careful with you. Respectful. Always respectful. Their eyes hold a deep admiration for you and your body. Always.
