legit criticisms about Taash's personal quests aside (which there are a few but the discourse has been so bogged down by right wing bullshit that it's nearly impossible to have a good faith discussion about it), the scene where they're talking to Neve about being a woman and respond to her prodding with "no one enjoys being a woman" with such certainty is so genuinely arresting. As someone who struggles actively with how misogyny was a key part of their upbringing, shackled to an overbearing mother bent on toxic traditions, the game might as well have just plopped a mirror in front of me and said "this u?"

I legitimately cannot stress enough how much I needed to hear a character have a thought like that and realize that I wasn't the only person with this experience. Like, actually, a lot of women enjoy being women and maybe if you aren't you might not be a woman? Maybe that's something about yourself you need to stop swallowing down to make people around you comfortable?

Idk it just really resonated with me lol
