こんにちは、PIPS JAPANのMizukiです。 私たちは3月12日にカップルでいらしていた方々にガイドをさせていただきました。お二方ともとても日本をご存知なようで、特に歴史については私以上にご存知で驚きました。 それから、突然ですが、明治神宮の鳥居に付けられている文様を見たことがありますか？私たちも今回男性に尋ねられるまで全く気にもとめなかったのですが、鳥居には日本のパスポートと同じ菊の文様がつけられているんです！是非、明治神宮に行く機会があれば確認してみてください。ちなみに菊は桜と並び日本を代表する花のようです。このようなことに気づいていただけるほど、日本に関心を持ってくださっていると思うと、とても嬉しく思います。 PIPS JAPANをご利用いただき、ありがとうございます！ Hi! I'm Mizuki from PIPS JAPAN. We guided couple on March 12th. I was surprised because they knew a lot of things of Japanese especially Japanese history more than I. I ask the question, have you ever seen a pattern of gate? The gate has the same chrysanthemum pattern as Japanese passport. We didn't notice it until he asked me. Please check if you have a chance to visit Meiji -shrine. Incidentally chrysanthemum is one of the representative flowers in Japan as well as cherry blossom. Hi! This is Sakurako from PIPS JAPAN! On February 5th,my partner and I guided a man from Bangladesh. He is working at a clothing company and came to Japan to train himself by his own will, so it wasn't necessarily a business trip. He said that he was able to recognize the brand of the clothing people were wearing just by looking at them. While guiding, we met a woman who was looking for the way to yoyogi park, so she tagged along and we guided both of them to the park. She was planning on seeing the Elvis Presley themed dance show. It was very interesting talking to them because they came from such different places. I was so lucky to meet such generous and amazing people. I hope both of your stays in Japan are wonderful. Hello!This is Junna and from PIPS TOKYO. On March 5th,we guided a couple from Switzerland at Meigi-jingu-shrine. The man spoke Japanese very fluently.That's because he studied in Japan for an year when he was high school student. I asked the woman why they chose Japan to visit.Then she said she wanted to know about Japan because Japanese culture is totally different from other countries' culture,and it's quite unique.At that time,I thought we,Japanese people have to continue to protect original Japanese culture again. I hope they enjoy the rest of their staying in Japan! Hello! This is Rie from PIPS JAPAN. We guided two graduate students from the US and the UK on February 26th. They were very friendly and fun to talk with. They said they came to Japan in last October and will be staying here for about a year. There was a Shinto-style wedding ceremony in Meiji Jingu Shrine and we all enjoyed watching them. It was my first time to take part in PIPS JAPAN volunteering and I had a precious time with them. Hope they will enjoy their stay in Japan! Hello!We're Junna and Sakurako from PIPS TOKYO. On February 12th,we guided a group of 7(two families)from Sydney,Australia at Meiji-jingu-shrine. Before they came to Tokyo,they had been in Hakuba-mura,Nagano Prefecture,and they had enjoyed snow boarding there. The season in Australia is opposite from the season in Japan,so they said winter in Japan was freazing. Through this guide,we could exchange the informations of Japan and Australia.It was educational for us. That day was the last for them to do sightseeing in Japan,so it was lucky for us to guide them!! He is working as a police officer and came to Japan as a buisness trip. He was planning on walking around Harajuku and Shibuya to look for gifts for his children after seeing the Meiji shrine. He said that he had already been to Shinjuku, Akihabara, and Asakusa. He was surprised by how expensive prices are in Japan. I had never thought about that, so it was a great topic for me to think about! I hope he enjoys the rest of his stay in Japan! こんにちは！PIPS JAPANのMizukiです。 私たちは1月29日にオーストラリアからいらっしゃった男性2人組をガイドさせていただきました。神宮内では、結婚式が行われていて、日本とオーストラリアの結婚式にかかる費用の話題になりました。国によって金額が大きく変わるという事に驚きました。それから、彼らは日本に漢字、平仮名、片仮名がある事をご存知でした。「片仮名はどんな時に使うの？」と質問をされた時は、今まで考えた事がなかったので、改めて日本語の複雑さに気づけたきがします。 PIPS JAPANをご利用いただきありがとうございます！ Hello! We talked about the topic of the expence that it cost for a wedding ceremony in Japan and Australia. I knew that amounts of money were greatly different and was suprised very much. And they knew about Japan has a three types of words, Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana. One man asked me,「When are you using Katakana?」I had never thought about this. Hi! This is Yuriko from PIPS TOKYO! On January 22nd, we guided a couple from California around the Meiji Shrine! They were really easy-going and told us how they didn't have enough time to explore Tokyo because it's such a big city! The man is currently working as a director in filmography and he has even met some pretty big celebrities like Adam Levine...! They seemed intrigued by the wedding and the traditional Japanese kimono that the woman was wearing. Apparently, they are living in Australia right now and were amazed by the weather in Japan because it is summer in Australia now. It was very interesting to hear about many differences between Singapore and Japan. It was the last day of their trip that day, I hope they enjoyed travelling Japan! こんにちは！pipistokyo のYuhoです。1月8日はチリ出身の男性をガイドさせて頂きました。今日、日本に着いたばかりだそうで3週間ほど日本に滞在するそうです。東京の他に大阪や京都に行かれるそうです。アニメやマンガなどを見て、日本に興味があり来られたそうです。また、「すごい」などの簡単な日本語をマンガから学んだと仰っていました。 日本の文化がこんなにも海外の方に知って頂いてると思わなかったので驚きました。 Pips japanを御利用下さいまして有難うございした。 素敵なご旅行になる事をお祈りします。 Hi! He just arrived today,and he is going to stay in Japan about 3weeks,and he will visit Kyoto, Osaka and something like those places.He watched anime and reading comic so he is interested in Japan,that is why he came to Japan. こんにちは、Pips Tokyo のmomoです。12月25日のガイドでは、キルギスからいらしゃったカップルのガイドをさせていただきました。 その二人はドイツに住んでいて、二人で30カ国以上も旅行したことがあるそうです。特にアジアの文化が好きで、今年の夏にはマレーシアに行ったとおっしゃっていました。初来日し、二週間で日本各地を周るそうです。私のPips Japan の一員としての活動として初日で、彼らをガイドできてとても良かったです。 また日本にいらしてください！！ Hi, this is Momo from PIPS JAPAN. My tour guide partner and I showed around the MEIJI shrine to a couple from Kyrgyzstan, on December 25th, 2016. They are currently living in Germany and have traveled to over 30 countries. They especially like the Asian culture, as they traveled to Malaysia this summer and other Asian countries. It is their first visit to Japan and planning to go other place than Tokyo. It was my very first day to take a part in PIPS JAPAN volunteer activity and I am delightful that I had an opportunity to guide them. Hope to see them again!

PIPS Tokyo のToko,Mizuki, Taikiです！私たちは11月13日にイギリスから来た男性をガイドさせていただきました。とても気さくな方で、仕事で日本に来たということでしたが、滞在を楽しんでいらっしゃいました。七五三の時期に近かったこともあり、晴れ着姿の子供達がたくさんいて文化的背景に興味をもたれていました。また、秋の花ということで菊の展示もされていて、菊の英語名を教えてくださいました。まだ2回目のガイドで緊張していたのですが、日常的な会話から幅広い内容に関してたくさんお話させていただいて本当に有意義な時間を過ごせました。日本の好きなところは食べ物、文化、それから活気のある若者だそうです！PIPS JAPANをご利用いただきありがとうございました！ Hi, we are Toko, Mizuki, and Taiki from PIPS JAPAN Tokyo! こんにちは，PIPS JAPANのTaikiです。私は，11月13日，フィリピンから訪れた家族をガイドしました。嬉しいことに，東京ましては日本を訪れるのが初めてだそうです。東京に到着されたのが数日前であり，それでもって明治神宮に参られました。私が非常に驚いたことは，ご家族の中のお一人が日本語をとてもナチュラルに話されていたことです。私は，最初，大学で日本語を専攻されたのかと思いましたが，そのような経験はないようで日本のアニメや映画をご覧になって学ばれたようです。お話を聞いている中で，彼女は日本のアニメの大ファンであるということが分かり，世界におけるアニメの人気度に驚きました。とにかく，恵まれた天候のおかげで，明治神宮を存分に楽しく観光されておりました。私は，その家族の全てのご旅行が素晴らしく，記念になられることを願っております。PIPS JAPANをご利用いただきありがとうございました。 Hello! I am Taiki from PIPS JAPAN! I guided a big family from Philippine on November 13! According to them, it was gladly their first time to visit Japan or Tokyo. They just arrived a few days ago and visited Meiji Shrine. One thing I was really surprised at was one of the family members spoke really natural Japanese!! Although I first thought she learned Japanese at University or something like that, She said she didn’t take any Japanese courses and just learned it watching Japanese anime and movies!! As I was talking to her, I realized that she is a big fan of Japanese anime and I was really surprised at how much popular anime is all over the world. こんにちは！PIPS TOKYOのMizuki・Toko・Keitaです。 11月13日に明治神宮にてマレーシア人の家族のガイドをさせていただきました。 日本の��生の生活についてたくさん質問され、そのことについて話させていただきました。 と言うのも、旦那様と奥様が学校の先生だったので、日本の学生に興味を持っていただけたのだと思います。 次、日本に来る予定も立てていて、場所は北海道だそうです！ でも、マレーシアは温暖な気候なためコートを持っていないから、冬は行けない！ともおっしゃっていました！ 私はPIPS JAPANのメンバーとして、ガイドするのが初めてだったのですが、私の初ガイドが彼らでとても嬉しく思います！ PIPS JAPANをご利用いただきありがとうございます！ Hello!We are Mizuki, Toko and Keita from PIPS JAPAN.
