The Road So Far (Boyce)

Since I started this blog a bit further into my play-through, I'm missing some key screenshots and notes. Instead, I'll summarize all the key events that I can remember in this post!

Too Many Toddlers Completed!

Thankfully, I had accidentally forgot to install the Give Me Talent mod before completing this talent, as Haley wound up receiving the Very Bad at Communication Skill trait, which slows her skill gain in that skill by quite a lot!

I used the 5,000 aspiration point reward to buy the family a money tree. I sort of regret this decision as money isn't even a faint idea to this household despite Tanner never setting foot in a traditional job AND multiplying the base bill percentage by two.

He also acquired the Extremely Good at Juice Fizzing trait. He maxed out the skill in just a few fizzes!

House Party?

Once the challenge had concluded, Justin Delgato and his family of five decided they needed to escape the confines of their massive, two story house and crash in my modestly sized house... Needless to say, the money tree served its purpose. I added an extension to my house that allowed Justin, Supryia, Evie, Pierce, Blue, and Bartholomew A. Bittlebun, Sr. (what a mouthful) to rest comfortably for their nearly week-long stay.

Turns out that Justin and Tanner have amazing friendship compatibility. They became fast friends and ultimately best friends at the end of the whole ordeal! Tanner's natural parenting talent also seemed to pull in Evie and Pierce quite quickly. Supryia, though not overly close with Tanner, also doesn't mind being part of the family friend group.

Justin and Tanner still remain close friends and I have little doubt this will change anytime soon.

Bigger House, Bigger Vacancy

With the Delgato's absence, Tanner felt quite lonely when the kids attended preschool, so he decided to hire a live-in Nanny with his extra cash. As seems the tradition, Anjelo and Tanner have great compatibility. They grew fast friends, though not quite as close as Tanner and Justin.

Anjelo doesn't have too much to do as the toddlers are quite well behaved, but that isn't to say he is unappreciated. Tanner enjoys his company and efforts, especially when he's dead tired from forgetting to go to sleep on time! The kids also like Anjelo quite a lot and could use some socializing outside the family tree.

Joker Takes Over Fireworks Festival

Not quite the joker you may think and also not just one! Justin and Tanner teamed up at the Fireworks Festival to dominate the Pranksters, netting Tanner a microphone, set of fireworks, and 500 more simoleons.

The first night out of the house for Tanner in what seemed like ages, he unfortunately met two people who found quite displeasing: Hinata and Ulrike.

A New Addition

Surprisingly, Supriya decided to call Tanner one day and ask him to meet their newest addition to the family: Dakota. No one is quite sure what his breed is, but the little trouble maker is loved all the same.

Oh, and the couple also had another child, but apparently that wasn't as important as showing off the new dog. Needless to say, Tanner enjoyed meeting both Dakota and little Janette. Pierce also spent a lot of time with Tanner during his brief stay. He told Tanner he was his favorite uncle!

A More Cheerful Tanner!

Every day Tanner becomes a bit more fulfilled and a bit more cheerful! He decided to embrace the feelings and allow it to be a key part of his personality going forward.

Miscellaneous Facts

Tanner was struck by lightning (and survived)! Clement Frost became Braden's first ever friend outside his family while Anjelo became Haley's. Haley seems to be the only one of the toddlers to experience nightmares but also seems potentially destined for Stardom?

Boyce Family Legacy

So, I decided to finally reboot my Sims obsession the other day. My last ten-generation household started with the Too Many Toddlers Challenge and so I thought I'd do it again! Come meet everyone!

This is Tanner Boyce. He's a family oriented, kind, and easy-going. I think he's a great dad!

He struggles with finding the right words to say despite being an extremely extroverted sim. People who understand him, however, take a fast liking to him! He plays off his lack of skill and finds something to laugh about anything. What he can't verbally say, he excels at writing!

He's family oriented, kind, and easy-going. He finds peace and comfort in early morning jogs, late night cleaning, and taking care of his family. He doesn't seem too interested in romance even though he's found himself with triplets!

He's never had a traditional job but instead used his love for Juice Fizzing to earn enough for living comfortably with his three kids. When he needs a little extra cash, he's not afraid to take an odd job or two (even if he's woefully under-qualified for it).

These are the triplets Haley, Braden, and Daryl! They all have great relationships with their dad and each other. They are pretty good kids!

Haley is quite fussy except with her dad, and she absolutely loves being carried! She struggles with a Global Development Delay and speech impairment. While she isn't too keen on the creative side of life, she really loves books and logic and eventually will grow-up to be a great parent and veterinarian!

Braden is wild and never seems to grow tired, even when his energy is in the negative. He'll most likely either be singing or talking to someone!

He wears hearing aids but doesn't seem too affected by his Global Development Delay as of yet. He's a picky ear and hates wake-up time, but he'll eventually grow to love crafting things! He doesn't seem at all interested in competitive sports.

Daryl is a heavy sleeper, picky eater, and hates bed time! This kids a handful but he has a lot to offer, too. He's already showed interest in SSL for his (technically little) brother! He'll eventually be great at DJing and dancing but doesn't seem all that interested in making a career out of either.
