"...O-Oh...!" Mikan gasps a little. Getting very flustered by the response, she lightly hides her now pinkish cheeks with a couple of locks of her hair. "W-Well,,, I'm glad you're doing well,,,"

A small knock is heard from the door, before a little voice calls out. It sounds quite familiar.

"K-Komaeda-san, hello,,, it's Mikan,,,"

"I-I hope I'm not interrupting something important... Unless i can come back later- If you want, o-of course...!"

The nurse's voice seems to quiver a bit, as if she has been standing by the door to take some strength and guts to knock the door. Oh dear;;;

He slowly opened the door, and upon seeing her, he smiled softly

"Oh? Hello there, Mikan! You aren't interrupting anything at all, please come in!"

"Oh, yes... I do know him as a familiar face... Along with other two people."

Mikan lightly twiddles her thumbs more, looking down at her shoes for a short while.

"I'm just hoping there can be more people as accepting and kind as Hinata-san,,,," She whispers with a small smile. "I- I really want to get along with everyone...!"

There is a small knock on the door to the infirmary, and a blonde head of hair peers in from the open doorway.

“Hello? Is there anyone here? Could have sworn Hajime told me there was someone in the infirmary that I should meet… Hellooo?”

“E-Eek!”

A small sound in the room is heard when the blonde-haired figure knocked the door lightly, along with a sound of a loud thump as if someone bump themselves into one of the cabinets-

“H-Huh…”

Slowly, a ravenette head pops in from one of the counters. If you zoom in a bit closer, the head seems to slowly got out from reaching something inside a lower cabinet, showing some resemblance of a feminine figure.

She must have bumped her head upwards by accident inside the little storage furniture. A pair of pale, gray-mauve eyes look up to see the person that arrived by the door, they seem to almost constantly convey anxiety or tearfulness. But they currently seem to show sheepishness and timidity.

A hand carefully reaches to the table, placing a roll of bandages the girl just grabbed from the cabinet as if preparing a set of materials. “H-Hello,,,, I’m sorry for the small absence.”

Mikan notices and complies, quietly sitting on the couch with her hands folded in her lap.

"R-Really,,,,? I quite thought i was the only one at first,,, Nanami-chan and Hinata-san doesn't seem so bothered about this- o-or probably it might just me overthinking,,,,"

Mikan shifts a little bit as she looks down,,,

"i honestly haven't talked to anyone else about how I'm feeling lately,,, maybe that's why."

"H-How are you feeling...?"

Mikan blinks her droopy eyes a bit before quietly roaming into the room with small hesitant footsteps. She then stops shortly once she’s sure enough that she’s now inside the room. Turning to face Nagito once again shyly.

“T-This place is still very new to me,,,, Seeing many new faces as well as a different environment has been m-making me feel jumpy for a while,,,”

“I thought it would make me feel better if I talk to someone who at least I’m familiar with,,,”

After she finishes explaining while looking at her shoes for a moment, she carefully revealed a paperbag that’s in her hands which has been hidden behind her. She hands the paperbag to the light-haired one, which has bagels in it.

“I-I didn’t come empty handed, I took the opportunity that there was not many people in the kitchen and got them,,”

The thought of taking some of the trouble to make sure no one is going to approach her for a talk while meaning to get snacks alone is a bit overwhelming for Mikan, but is worth it.

She gently stammers as she attempts to carefully stand up from the floor. Before trying to formally introduce herself. Fiddling her thumbs while her gaze softens a bit.
