August Progress

Just a quick progress update, since most other locations across the web are up to speed!

Draft for In Blood is complete, Brenton’s revisions are complete and I’m currently working on Tristin and Karon’s revisions.

Artwork is being worked on all the time <3 We’ve only got a handful of CGs left and 1 BG

Music in also in progress, with some really cute/spooky tracks completed

Brenton’s VA has started to record his lines! 

Brenton’s route was submitted to beta-players who backed us on Kickstarter. Beta feedback was good, and we’re planning to tweak his endings and look at the affection mechanic.  We’ll also be adding a bit more spicy content as requested. (Is saying spicy… too spicy for tumblr now??)

Lots of fun things coming down the line! Stay tuned!

Now I retreat back into my cave so I can work on those edits~

Slowly Returning To Tumblr!

It’s been.... a few years maybe?

I’m slowly getting back on tumblr for game related content <3

Most active area will be In Blood’s tumblr since that is the game I currently have in development! (Check it out if you haven’t already!)

Leaving Tumblr

So with tumblr imploding I’ll be taking my game updates elsewhere. I’m mainly on Twitter, but I have a few other sources where you can keep up to date on all game-dev news. You can also sign up for a newsletter, though I only send those out for big things happening! <3

Looking Back

Pinewood Island has been out for a year now! I released it last year on Itch.io August 25th, (Oct on Steam).

When I initially released Pinewood Island my expectations were low. I had scraped together the money to fund it and as far as anyone knew I was a nobody. Why would they buy my game?

I assumed Pinewood Island would sell a handful of copies. 1? 5? even 10 sounded impossible to me.

As of today I have sold almost 800 copies. Now that number would probably be laughed at by some companies, but to me it is incredible.

I also made enough to put together a demo for another project (Check it out on Itch.io: As We Know It). With the demo I launched a Kickstarter and it was funded! (Also check out the tumblr page for it!)

My success has been small, but it is mine and I’m happy with it. I’ve also made friends within the VN community, and I’ve learned so so much. I’ll keep making games as long as I can, and I wish I could personally thank everyone who ever bought or enjoyed my games.

Hi, I love your game! I was super hesitant to buy it at first, but I decided to finally buy it after getting paid and have no regrets! I spent all night trying to get all the endings and enjoyed the mystery solving part of the game! However, I am still missing several endings from the game, two from Carl, one from Matt, and one from Ray. I've tried a lot of things, such as trying to solve the mystery on Carl's route and romancing two guys. I've also looked at the walkthrough. You have any tips?

Ah! I’m so glad you enjoyed it :D

Carl and Matt’s route mainly depend on their affection, so play through as normal, while only adjusting their affection levels to unlock the different endings in the different mini-routes.

Ray is a bit more complicated, but only for the secret-ish endings.

If you message me again with a screenshot of your missing endings I can try to give more specific advice, but hopefully the vauge-ish stuff helped.

Hi!! Firstly, thank you so much for the walkthrough ^^ I had a question, I noticed that the 'Options for Endings with Ray' in Matt's walkthrough is the exact same as Carl's (even using Carl's name instead of Matt's) and I wanted to know if those options still should work or if he has different options. I'm trying to get the vs Ray Good ending for Matt and Bad Ending for Carl ^^

Vs Ray endings depend on Matt and Carl’s affection level and Ray’s uh... ‘crazy’ level lol

The thing that trigger’s Ray’s event are outside of Carl/Matt’s affection, so you just gotta balance them and you should be able to get all the endings ^^

Hello! I can't seem to get one of the ending's for Ray--is there a walkthrough somewhere? Also, AWESOME GAME, the art is so appealing and the writing very much realistic! I'm excited for the new game in store for us!
