Then and now. Just start. There are countless reasons not to start: I don’t have the talent, I don’t have the money, I don’t have the education, I’ll never be as good as her, What if it doesn’t work, What if nobody likes it, What if I fail… But what if you try, what if you just start where you’re at with what you have? What if you persist, practice, show up again and again? Ten years ago, I tripped upon wire wrapping. I was intrigued. I bought some cheap wire and tools and some glass marbles and things I found at the dollar store and just gave it a try. My first attempts were terrible! (pendant on left.) But I was hooked. Though the thought of selling my handmade jewelry was terrifying for this introvert! Ten years later, I am amazed how God has helped me grow this hobby into a full-time business.
