Chance x Reader Headcanons !!

Heyoo!!! Sorry for uh.. procrastinating on this LMFAO I've been busy with irl stuffs

Mainly tooth rotting fluff with sprinkles of angst

N E WAYS First batch of Headcanons are heeeree, as soon as this is posted, I'll be working on the Itrapped x reader headcanons, I also have been considering Two Time as well, but we'll see.

Cw// mentions of alcohol consumption & smoking, gambling (duh), Kissing, lots of it, Mentions of SH and burns, showering together??? Idk I felt like I had to tag this just in case, it's not NSFW, but it's there. And periods.

Reader is GN, and will be referred to as Partner, ect

Forgive me if I get anything incorrect about Chance, we have like...CRUMBS about them, so most of this is canon divergent??? I think that's the correct term I dunno.

He/they prns on Chance, but They're Afab, cause I said so come at me ☝️ reader is refered to as Partner, no pronouns are specifically stated. This is mainly pre-forsaken, so sorry if you wanted present Chance 😔

Incredibly self indulgent 🤫

• Smells like a mixture of smoke and that one specific type of cologne that's stronger than you'd like.

• he'll swap the cologne for something easier on the nose occasionally, but the smell of cigarettes lingers

• they're not a heavy smoker, he does smoke (much to your annoyance), but rarely. the cigarette smell actually comes from the casino.

• occasionally does drink as well, but never really gets drunk, especially in public, even then he just sleeps it off if they're home. (A little bit on this later)

• Stupidly loyal, it's actually his downfall.

• If he IS drunk in public, he WILL hang onto you, definitely half asleep, but still sober enough to not fall on his face. If ANYONE , no matter who it is, friend, patron, ect, they Will immediately go "nooo I'm taken..." Or "noo I have a partner"

• loyal no matter what I'm jus sayin🤫

• hand and waist holding. Lots of it

• they are a SUCKER for physical touch, loves kissing you on the cheek, hand, neck ect.

• Has you close to him whenever he gambles, considers you their 'extra lucky charm', as if they don't have enough luck already.

• also wraps an arm around your shoulders

• big snuggler, while not the big spoon 60% of the time, they will not let you go once they pass out for the night.

• they're an incredibly heavy sleeper, good luck.

• mouth breather + drools in his sleep, snores, a long with talking in their sleep.

• but hey, for the price of a nice cuddle session...better hope you fall asleep before he does

• The most golden eyes ever holy shit please wear some brown contacts/j

• He doesn't realize it, but they love it when you in particular praise him, it feels more genuine, he's not stupid when other people do so, all that does is feed their confidence in their skill, but when you, his lovely partner, compliments them, he melts.

• 100% gets all giddy and giggly (grown ahh he/they bro/j).

• they are full of love but don't know how to show oughhh utterly pathetic in a really cute way for his partner.

• Chance burns himself with his cigarettes when especially stressed, or feeling extremely down.

• in my oomfs words "Not even my special interest can get me out of this one"

• you comfort them whenever you catch him doing this, it's a nasty habit he has.

• Chance, before meeting you, had plain old suits, but after meeting you, before you even got together he'd dress up in more lavish and colourful suits to impress you.

• basically, a bird, a really odd bird. Specifically a peakcock

• really cheesy with dates, so cheesy it's cute, he's a hopeless romantic without even knowing.

• loves you so much their chest hurts.

• LOSER....in a good and affectionate way.

• spoils you an unbelievable amount, even if you decline it, they're buying you a gift the money you show interest in something.

• Gift giving in general is another big love language (easily gets taken over by physical touch)

• Likes seeing you use/wear the gifts he gives you, makes him blush like an idiot.

• an awful kisser, inexperienced even.

• first kiss ended in giggles and jokes from both sides, he knows he's bad at kissing, but is willing to get better if it's with you

• god I hate this dude man/affectionate

• Is a surprisingly good cook, not 5 star chef level, but knows how to make a pretty good meal (he enjoys cooking as well)

• likes bell peppers. Yeah idk dawg he just likes em

• Will be the cook of the relationship, will cook anything available that you ask them to.

• wears a kiss the chef apron (oh I'm kissing that chef alright.)

• not a morning person, but likes waking up early to make themselves coffee (will prepare you some if you like coffee, if not, will most likely have some juice or water available for you if you don't want up with him)

• Kisses you good morning while holding onto you from behind, kissing your cheek.

• yes, sometimes you two shower together, but nothing really happens, it's just a really nice and relaxing shower.

• you're one of the few people they trust to watch over Spade

• that rabbit is his BABY and deserves the best

• spoils Spade just as much as he spoils you, and yes, the bunny does snuggle with you two. It's a cute sight.

• Help him do his tie in the morning and they will give you a big ol kiss

• the kiss doesn't last long, as he's a busy fella, but the kiss is sweet enough to give one a cavity.

• if your Afab, your periods are definitely synced, so you two help each other out with that, if you're amab, then they appreciate it when you help him out with his period.

Disclaimer this is being written WAYYYYY before she releases (if she ever does, but hey a gal can dream), so please forgive me if this is ooc or ages poorly in the future (which is VERY likely). More on this later ;^;

This isn't Beta read, and this one might be shorter than my other ones, but that's MAINLY cause theres not a whole lot about her since her wiki doesn't have much about her as a character (which is understandable and a no brainer, she isn't even out yet LMFAOO), so this is VERY headcanon dependent.

But yeah anywayssss hope you guys enjoy nonetheless...I'm STARVING for Jane Doe content...so have this self indulgent mess..drools like a idiot

• She's touch starved. Incredibly so, but in a way where she hides it well, set a hand on her cheek and she'll pretend to be neutral about it, but her resolve breaks after a moment, leaning into her partners touch.

• it's especially noticable when you two are snuggling (whether it's for bed or for something else), she'll keep you close, nuzzling into your neck. Maybe a hand on your breast (or anywhere else) as long as she can feel you near, she can sleep peacefully at night

• Skin to skin contact is a very intimate thing for her, even outside of sex, it makes her feel grounded. And assures her that you are real. You assure and comfort her often by kissing the corners of her mouth and snuggling into her. She appreciates this dearly.

• tied in with the first one, she has abandonedment issues, HUGE abandonedment issues, While not clingy, she feels comforted that you're safe and alive with her.

• of course she hides it behind her often tired and serious demeanour, she shows it though her actions rather than her expression and verbally. She'll hold your hand in rounds, never leaving your side. And if you're injured, no matter where the wound is she will be carrying you bridal style. (Does depend on how bad the wound is, ofc ofc).

• her kisses are soft and light. They almost never last long. Behind closed doors she's more open about her affection, while in public, she'll hold your hand, and kiss your cheek while telling you to be careful.

• she'll also kiss your hand; more specifically your palm. Why? I dunno I think it's sweet.

• Gives you her hat to wear, maybe even your coat if it's cold out.

• she also just overall likes seeing you in her clothes, not for any spicy reason she just thinks you look pretty 🤫

• will also let you borrow her spare clothes, whether your old clothes don't fit, got ruined in a match and need to be washed/repaired, she doesn't care, she'll let you borrow some of her stuff. (This includes hygiene products like pads/tampons, we love her for that)

• she thinks VERY highly of you, no matter what role you play in rounds (support, survivalist, sentinel), though prefers you stay away from the killer while she protects you.

• princess x knight vibes I'm just saying oughh...

<• Okay so I have a headcanon that when one dies in a round, they get sent to their cabin and sleep the rest of the round, as soon as the round ends, they wake up with a dull pain from the round, but overall don't remember it, while those who survive the round have the dull pain too, but remember the whole round, keep this in mind•>

• If you 'Die' in a round, Jane Doe grieves. She does so nearly Everytime if possible, she knows your fine, hell she knows that you won't even remember dying, but it twists her gut to know that she failed to protect you

• if she 'dies' before you, she'll make sure it's because she was protecting you from whomever the killer is.

• (she has a self sacrificial mindset, it doesn't matter for who, it's especially strong for you particularly.)

• bonus points if the two of you die together she WILL crawl over to you and hold your hand as you both die🤫

• MOVING ON FROM THE ANGST HAHA N E WAYS she definitely enjoys listening to her parenter as they rant about something they like, she's more of a listener than a talker.

• she also enjoys giving small gifts, think small little flowers, something she baked, or whatever trinket she stumbled upon that she deems worthy as a gift.

• You do each others hair, it's mainly you doing her hair however, not that her hair is messy, she does take care of it, it often gets all messy after rounds and such, so often you brush her hair and give her different hair styles

• braid her hair, she loves it when you braid her hair.

• this one is self indulgent but idccc she definitely is a Madoka Magica fan, and sometimes after a hard day you'll watch it with her. How? Idk and idc (totally not an excuse to draw her and the reader as Homura and Madoka l8r....)

• she won't rant about it but she WILL make references to it and nobody but you will understand them, leaving the others a bit confused.

• You take baths together, really nice and relaxing, and both of you 100% smell like lavender afterwards.

• she usually smells like a faint elderberry like scent, it's not too strong but not too feint.

• said baths involve homemade candles, and usually take place after a rough day where a cuddle session won't fix it, so a bath will do. You two take turns cleaning each others hair.

• Really bad with flirting, again she's not the best with wording things, not that she's terrible at it, but she's used to talking to herself in her head, or just doing what she means to do, so seeing her attempt to give a compliment in a way that doesn't come off as too abrupt or off is cute.

• this goes for talking in general, she CAN use sign language but isn't very fluent with it, she can sign the basics like 'hello' and 'where is *insert location*?' but that's about it (Taph has offered to help and she appreciates it deeply).

• Holds his s/o like they're glass, he gets paranoid about his talons sometimes, but his s/o has told him it's alright.

• Nuzzles his face in his s/o's neck, it's not entirely a scent/claiming thing, he just enjoys touch in general, despite him denying it. He also has a staring problem (more on that later)

• Uses his wings as an extra blanket!!! You know how those fancy male birds are in the wild? Like they display their feathers and stuff? Did that with his s/o. He acts more like a pigeon if anything however, he coos like one (don't tease him about it, he WILL pout about it.)

• As much as I like to imagine how much of a pathetic wet sopping pigeon he is, he can be *very* intimidating, who's shocked? He knows how to use his power to put people in their place, however this doesn't apply to his s/o, he immediately melts. Leaning into his s/o's palms. Leaning his entire weight onto his s/o. The whole nine yards.

• This isn't really an x reader hc but just a general one? Okay? Okay ;3. I like to think he can change his sex / gender based off of whatever he feels like being that day (I usually use he/him on Telamon but I actually like to hc that Telamon can change his gender/appearance). Yes, his appearance CAN change off of this, but he mainly looks the same no matter the gender he decides to take that day.

• Yeah this one's just hear I fw it heavily LMFAOO, he's also like, usually completely smooth down there, he doesn't necessarily need to perform bodily functions, aside from some urges which I will not get into here🥶

• yes you theoretically COULD get him pregnant, would he let his partner do that? Probably, hell even if his partner is fem he'd do it jus so his lovely lovely partner wouldn't have to 'go through the pain of giving birth', in his words. Yeah that went well for him. Unless his partner directly says they WANT to be the one having said kid. If his partner is masc then ignore everything I said about fem I fear he's the one getting pregnant here lmfaooo

• . No I will not say anything else I just know my oomf is gonna ask that...I know what you are. In oomfs words 'it doesn't have to theoretically with me around' & 'im gonna get that bird pregnant'. FREAK.

• Makes a nest for his partner, depending on where his partner is, in the bedroom? Blankets pillows, plushies, ect are used, at HIS place? Sticks, silks and blankets are used. Yes he uses stick. No his partner cannot change his mind about using them.

• here comes a mildly suggestive one, he bites his partner in places where people can DEFINITELY see but gets unbelievably mad when his partner covers them up. FREAK ALERT FREAK ALERT.

• one from oomf wahoooo ; loves the adrenaline he gets during battle, and loved it whenever he got cut and Injured and bled, so often times he'll scratch himself with his talons, use Illumina to cut himself (maybe even impail himself if he wants that extra rush), so his bare body is LITERED with scars. His partner isn't even able to differentiate which are self inflicted lacerations or where actually gained in battle.

• adding onto this, his partner kisses the scars whenever they are bare in bed together, nothing spicy or anything, just some kisses and soft words, since his actions worry his partner, which Telamon thinks his partners worrying is useless, since he's completely fine, but it doesn't soothe his partner at all.

• Telamon has some sort of night vision (sort of like an owl), and has extremely WIDE pupils, tilts his head like one whenever he thinks about something or is intrigued

• his pupils also widen even more when he sees two things; his partner, and swords.

• Preen and take care of his feathers. Do it. He loves it. He sees it as a bonding activity...cuz he's a bird...stinky guy.

• Enjoys eating whatever his partner makes, again he technically doesn't need to eat, but he loves his partners cooking...or whatever concoction they make, whether it's microwaved, a disaster in the kitchen, ect. He isn't picky at all. (Though does prefer meals with meat in it, preferably chicken. Greedy fella)

• has a STUPIDLY good memory, will remember every single detail in a 3 hour conversation no matter how long it's been since then. His hearing is good yes, but his memory is scarily accurate, his senses in general are heightened.

• If his partner has memory issues, he'll gladly help them, he infact, enjoys helping his partner in his own ways (but will often mess with them when doing it. He's not convincing. At all, terrible poker face when it comes to his partner.)
