A beautiful design here we completed for Christmas for Laura Payne. This design certainly had its fair share of technical challenges, what with maintaining the carbon fibre of the helmet, to each silver pinstripe having its own drop shadow. A simple yet effective design here for Nick Sutton over at @livinglifefast_llf . Some of you may recognise Nick's name, as the son of @llf_arthur_official who has some crazy cars on show on the LLF YouTube channel!! We used a very simple layout with striking colours to make sure Nick is recognisable whenever he is wearing it, but giving a personal touch with the Mitsubishi Evo airbrushed artwork on the back of the helmet. ⭐⭐⭐ SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT ⭐⭐⭐ A stunningly simple but effective paint scheme here for Barry Allan to commemorate the age classic movie Smokey and the Bandit. Featuring the 3 main characters of the movie, Burt Reynolds as Bo Darville "Bandit", Jackie Gleason as Buford T. Justice "Smokey", and Jerry Reed as Cledus. Here we have an Arai GP6-RC carbon fibre helmet for Colin Lawson of Equilbrium. You may recognise the Equilibrium logo we did for Tim Arnold a few days ago, and this is the company that actually sponsors Tim. After a very much appreciated Recommendation, Colin’s wife decided to book in with and have this custom helmet commission for a birthday present for Colin. With a simple design brief and a few colours to work with @dominicbowen_helmetconcepts came up with this design, and after only a couple of slight modifications we were good to go! We maintained the carbon of the helmet, with a flat grey for the majority of the shell, and bright candy gold which will really light up in sunlight! NO STICKERS, NO VINYL, NO WATERSLIDE TRANSFERS, JUST A MAN WITH AN AIRBRUSH!! Tim came to collect the helmet a couple of weeks ago from us and a day or so later left a brilliant review of us on Facebook, and explained the different elements of the design. Il use Tim’s words as the description for this post. Hay the day out today to collect the special helmet that combines Jamie's and my helmet design's. This special helmet combines my own helmet livery with Jamie's. Additionally it has three logos on it. Equilibrium Asset Management, which belongs to our amazing friends Colin Lawson and Gaynor Rigby; The Beaujolais Run, run by our great friend Rob Bellinger; and J.M. Lestveldter's, which was Jamie's "Speak Easy" themed bar in Lymm, Cheshire. In addition to the logo's there is a portrait of Jamie on the back of the helmet along with a sunflower 🌻 in reference to the room Jamie stayed in at St Roccos Hospice. If you need a helmet painted, Piers Dowell Paintwork is the place to go. Piers and his assistant Lewis (who did a lot of the work on this helmet) are now the best in the industry in my opinion. I cannot tell you how good the portrait of Jamie on the back of the helmet is. It is photo-realistic and anyone who knew Jamie will I'm sure confirm how lifelike it is. Just to be clear - it's a hand done airbrush PAINTING! It's unreal! No, it's very real! I love it! I hope Jamie's brother and sister, Ross and Ashlea like it too. A very bold design on this Arai CK-6 here for Joel Billington. We went for a simpler approach on this one with no shaded effects, but instead using the same block flourescent red and yellow layout as his race suit to make this design really pop and make sure he looks the part on any race grid!!
