thank you so much!! this rp is plotless for the most part but there will be little town events that bring characters together and give writers new settings to work with. up first is the halloween parade and autumn festival. but there will also be farmer's markets, charity galas, and more!

thank you so much! i'd love to have a vibe of hard-working, flawed characters that are always trying their best to support their loved ones and community. pickwick is a quaint and idyllic small-town and it's filled with people who want to take care of each other! if you're looking for more specifics i'd love to play with some clichés like the gruff sailor, the shy librarian, and the queen-bee head of the pta! i always love taking a character trope and adding depth to it, so if something feels quintessential 'small town' it would probably work very well here!

What sort of members/roles do you see being part of the town council?
the mayor, vice mayor, secretary, treasurer, and head of the tourism board all work at town hall full time! and there are also three other council members who likely have other jobs within the city!

well, because i'm too excited to be rational, i think i'd be willing to open up for early bird reservations tonight! these reservations will last until 48 hours after the submit box opens! so if you have a fc you'd like to put on reserve send them in along with your name and i'll mark it down!

Omg I hope this group gets tons of apps I’m absolutely OBSESSED. That being said mw occupations?
i am just over the moon that people are excited about this! as for occupations, i'd love to see characters that work at the local businesses listed on our locations page! it would also be lovely to have characters that work for the local government, or have a small medical or law practice in town! and, of course, it's a fishing town so i'd be so happy to see some characters that own fishing boats!
