This link has helped me as well with my report. The majority of copyright is the same across the world and the same is with the UK the wording is just slightly different.

I have completed the basics to my website for my module. It is a very basic website due to my lack of experience in the photography world but I can build it up if I wish at a later date.

This website is a good model for a photographers website. The layout if fairly simple, there isn’t any confusion and it is easy to navigate. For my website I will be using the simple and easy approach.

What I have found out about unit stills photographers
· Skills recommended are a university degree in fine art with a concentration in photography
· Experience in unit stills photography can be built up through small or no-budget productions, this can help build up a portfolio too. Also, experience in camera accessories and the techniques of a stills photographer are required. Another piece of experience that is vital to this carer is the variety of shooting conditions and environments, for example sports for motion capture.
· For this career it is essential to build up a positive reputation within the production industry so that the job opportunities offered will increase. Also, it is good to network in this job so that connections can be made in the production industry.
· It appears that with a good portfolio, reputation and networks the ability to become successful in this career is achievable.
· There are a couple of unit stills photographers that are prominent in the industry that are contactable, and these are Aimme Spinks and Laura Radford. Both of these women have a lot of experience in this industry as well as connections.
· A unit stills photographer works on a freelance basis and is hired by a producer, PR firm or a film sales assistant.

Art Curator
Becoming an art curator is another potential career that I would like to do once I have completed my degree. I have researched around it and it is a competition to get into. The website that I looked at for this recommended starting in a small gallery and work your way up to the big galleries such as the TATE Britain.
