being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?

Cursed to be stuck inside this ancient amulet for years but you know I was kind of getting used to it. The solitude had eaten away just enough of my sanity that I'm pretty sure it only would've been a few more days before I started hallucinating some really neat shit.

But then. THEN. This fuckass twink descendant of my mortal enemies picks up my amulet. Takes right out of the sacred chamber. I guess it was finally a ruin now? Worse timing possible, too late to stop me going insane and right before the insanity could pay off.

The fact that there’s no Batman game where you play as Alfred is a missed opportunity.

Seriously, Alfred is such a badass I’m genuinely surprised this hasn’t been a concept before. Sure, Bruce, Jason, Dick, Damien, and the other batkids are cool and interesting characters but Alfred was a former member of the British Special Forces, casually banged the Queen of England, in some comic runs he’s one of Bruce’s first combat teachers and teaches Bruce how to outsmart people rather than fight. He’d also medically trained and has a lot of technological knowledge. And he’s thrown hands before with no hesitation. He’s not afraid to square up, even if it’s against the Joker (I’m pretty sure Alfred would have/has killed The Joker).

Not to mention the comics where he gets powers himself. He was a Green Lantern, the Spectre, he became Batman; the list goes on. He even threw hands with Superman in Injustice and probably would’ve killed Clark. Because unlike Bruce, Alfred doesn’t have a no kill rule.

Imagine starting the game with Alfred giving information to Bruce for a case and then being like “if that’s all Master Bruce, the kettle is whistling.”

And then Alfred throws on some brass knuckles and loads up a shotgun because some thugs broke into Wayne Manor and Alfred goes to handle it because he stands on business. The rest of the game is Alfred doing his own batshit (no pun intended) adventure and by the end, he’s casually cleaning blood off his knuckles when Bruce comes in and Alfred is just “welcome back Master Bruce 😌”

Put some respect on Alfred’s name and give my man his own video game.
