Couldn't you sue the gambling/sports betting companies for using your character's likeness without your permission?

ive come to learn a valuable, painful lesson: it's not that simple

unfortunately for independent creators like myself it takes a lot of resources to go after companies stealing my work, and if i did go after them, the likelihood of getting any worthwhile residual (after legal fees) is very slim.

the most effective thing i can do is publicly shame them, but I don't even have the energy in me to do it anymore. as an artist in this day and age you kinda have to just get fucked 🥲
