AITA for not telling my fae roommate the girl he was seeing just recently read a guardian scroll?

My roommate (xxy, banana/white fae, 3 months) has been pinning for this other game (xyx, lemon/ice fae, 2 month) while waiting for a free nest. I (xyz, black, forest, mud, tundra, 10 months) are close with both, however I feel really awful as yesterday I bumped into her at the marketplace and she took our lair funds and bought a guardian scroll.

We locked eyes and I sped out of there, I felt like it wasn't my business to question her. But today I discovered that when the nest was finally available he went to go tell her and was then scrumched by mistake as she could barely see him from up there.

We're currently in the hospital tab and I feel horrible for not giving him a heads up?? But I also think that what other dragons do with their bodies isn't really my business?

The thing about same sex egg breeding is that while I like it for lore reasons, having 50% of the dragons on the site incompatible for breeding adds an important difficulty factor in and it would be a little too easy to make color combos without that restriction. Here's my proposal: gender no longer relevant to breeding, add dragon sexualities/gender preferences instead. Decided at random at hatching. A whole new world of breeding pair difficulty. This would fix nothing and create a lot more chaos

The trees in Wynchwood forest are old. Root systems so massive that they make the going underfoot rather hard. Gnarled trunks so scarred and pitted that one could imagine there’s a face peering out at them. Leaves rustle quietly overhead, sometimes even when there’s no breeze.

Though many paths run through the forest, travellers should be wary of which they take. Some do indeed lead to the city, but may become so choked with undergrowth that it’s wiser to turn back and seek another. Some lead to the coast, others further into the heart of the forest. It’s wise to hire a guide, though even they might get lost from time to time.

Ruins litter the forest. Some are simply mere husks of the buildings they once were, so overgrown as to appear one with the forest. Others aren’t quite so derelict - often providing shelter if there’s a storm. Occasionally the odd artefact can be found inside, but many of the places have long been raided by thieves and others looking to get their claws on a piece of history.

The shadows are deep in Wynchwood. Deeper than normal. They hide things. Old things. Things that watch the city, watch each other, watch the forest. Do not make a false move, visitor, for the things might just switch attention and watch for you.

Inhabitants so far:

Selvans (first Imp): A nature spirit who inhabits a tumbled-down old temple. He’s pretty friendly, but don’t push his kindness too far. Is the guardian of Wynchwood/Felhallow city.

Elidor (second Imp): Another spirit. She’s likely to play a few tricks on individuals now and then, but she’s pretty harmless.

Orser (Obelisk): Not sure who/what he is yet.

Unnamed (last Imp): Also no ideas yet.

aude is probably the most patient of any of my lore dragons! she's a witch and an herbalist, and she's very used to people coming in to her shop and needing to chat for a while before they get around to what they actually came in for. she also just loves a leisurely cup of tea!

Though its golden age ended long ago, Apotelesmatis was once one of the biggest necromantic cults on Sornieth. Small clans of Apotelesmatis necromancers were scattered in nearly every Flight, recruiting and spreading the word of their Lord. The decisive battle that ended the cult's reign was only the finale to a long war, one that the Children of the Blood-Mark and the Gaoler Orders had been waging against these smaller branches for years. Apotelesmatis' memory lingered for hundreds of years, but in those early days, repositories of knowledge were scarce, and time erased many facts about this once-powerful force. In our modern day, information about the cult is rare and treasured. Much of what we know about it now is based on the work of archaeologists and historians piecing together the few artifacts left over from that ancient age. In fact, knowledge about Apotelesmatis is so thin on the ground that the location of its home base is still completely lost to time…
