My biggest flex: I, in fact, HAVE fake dated someone and it did lead to us falling in love.

It's truly awful that the thing I love most in the world also causes me the most pain. It's almost poetic, isn't it? I adore the theater. I adore singing and dancing and acting my heart out. But I am a terrible auditioner. I think I'm at least a decent singer, but the moment I enter an audition, my voice quality dips significantly. And so I never get the roles I want. The roles I've been training so hard to have a chance at getting. And I just watch my friends as they get lead after lead, and it hurts. It hurts so badly. It almost makes me want to give up. I won't. I never do, but every time I consider it. Am I jealous? Yes, maybe, but it's more like I know that I'm better then they think I am. (Not to sound arrogant or anything, I just know my skill level) But here I am sitting, forever stuck in the ensemble.

And I'm miserable.
