the notion that trans women reinforce patriarchal expectations of femininity is laughable when you think for even 2 seconds. feminism has backslid considerably over the past several years and it hasn't been because of trans women becoming more comfortable with our bodies. it's actually specifically been because reactionaries have retreated to the safety and comfort of cisheteronormative ideas of gender roles out of fear for how our existence will "corrupt" their children by implanting in them the idea that they have bodily autonomy and can make their own choices regarding their gender presentation. trans women are feared because we are viewed as the ultimate perversion of the gender binary in the eyes of the conservative. if your political theory doesn't reflect that fact then it's simply transmisogynistic.
