Well that was a massive 4-day-long headache, but this kobold is finally back on their feet with their main account. Let’s hope Tumblr doesn’t glitch up like that again (even though I expect it will at some point).

5. What character that you’re writing do you most identify with? 19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?) 🐻 Your go-to things to draw when you need comfort?

5. Contrary to popular belief on what people might believe from looking at one of my characters, at the moment, I identify with Eris more than anything. Someone who’s family is broken and for the longest time was in a dark downward spiral. Let’s hope that I’m able to pull through like my character.

19. I haven’t really noticed anything, if I’m being honest. I tried to surprise one of my friends one time with a spontaneous new character for roleplay, yet almost immediately they recognized my writing style. I don’t know if I have specific themes or words that I repeat in my writing, and if I have, I’m shit at noticing it.

🐻. Usually Eevee, Shaymin, and Latias. Lots of fox, hedgehog, and feather dragon. Though I may even create story arcs on the spot to try and pull myself from a dark mood if I actually have the energy to draw or write.

I haven’t really been doing much of any writing lately, thanks to this whole fiasco with my account. Though I have been considering attempting to pick up the slack for Starbound’s storytelling at some point.

Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.

Oh boy, you have no idea. I had an entire plotline event for daybreakxeclipse planned where people could interact with the characters in between battles for the fate of the world. I also had the idea to have Olive tell the story of Team Horizon and asks could regularly pipe in and help me flesh out the world of the Horizon Continent further. Those are just two, I have many more abandoned ideas.

In a bunker an entire kilometer below the ground, paws deftly and with purpose flow across a computer terminal’s keyboard, the screen alight with a soft green glow.

“ Please let that have been the last hint... ”

Eris’ visage appears, though she appears panicked. Between the dark bags under her eyes, the messy unkempt hair, and the fact that she has several burn marks across her body, she’s clearly seen better days. Behind her the members of the Phantom Guild are unloading supplies.

“ Oh, finally! Took me an eternity and a half to get this to work. ... Ahem, anyway. If you’re getting this message, and I’m going to be blunt here, things have gone shit sideways on us. To cut the long story short, we were blasted to another dimension, entirely unlike our own. Thankfully, our base came with us so we have enough supplies for everyone to last a few years, even if it doesn’t taste the greatest. Wish they’d managed to freeze a few sweets in time. I mean, if they can do it with- ”

“ Eris, you’re getting off topic again... ”

“ Huh? Oh, right. ... Aaaanyway, we managed to get the hatch to this old room open, and despite being unused for what looks like a few centuries, a few of the terminals were working. Only major setback was the fact that the owner of this one had a massive password, and we all had to find hints etched into several parts of the room. We’re currently working on trying to find a way back, but until then, feel free to send any questions over this communication line, and we’ll get to them asap! ”
