people say that crested geckos have no brain cells and sometimes I'm like "idk they're probably actually pretty smart and we just don't get it because they look stupid and we anthropomorphize animals too much in general"
but then I just watched my crested gecko attack the same fake plant several times in a row because he thought it was food and then noticed it moving because he'd just attacked it and so he thought it was food and attacked it again and then he noticed it moving and so he thought it was food and attacked it again
it really makes me have trouble convincing myself that there are thoughts going on in that head tbh

Lizard stickers incoming soon, eventually, hopefully! Purpose is to show the animal in its natural environment, as it typically appears.

Today's aesthetic is…
Comfycore
aka.comfy, cozy, sloth, hygge

➻ KEY COLOURS: Neutrals (white, beige, grey) and warm undertones

• Stuffed animals and this cozy mood visual guide
• Always tired, beds, sleep, being terribly unorganized and bags under your eyes
• Playing on your electronics, watching funny animal videos and YouTube

• Baked goods, warm drinks and sweet treats
• Relaxing hobbies, writing/journaling, practicing mindfulness, reading, sleeping, watching movies or just doing nothing whilst at ease and petting your dog/cat

the queer stereotype cycle often goes "queer group starts making inside jokes > these jokes are overheard by cishets > cishets now start using these inside jokes against queer people > these inside jokes fall out of favour > because queer people aren't a hivemind some queer people keep making these inside jokes > these queer people are then attacked by other queer people for perpetuating stereotypes > nobody criticises the cishets who made it into a bad thing in the first place" and youse just keep letting that go round and round.

Ugh, the crisis of discovering that you’re nonbinary and wanting to change your name but nothing feels right and you’ve tried out a few different ones but they just don’t feel like they fit.
